Hi, I am about to send my mom's application for GC. She is currently outside the US and intends to stay there until her GC is given.

Below is what I am including. Am I missing something?

- Form I -130 filled out

- My birth certificate with my mom's name listed on there

- My US passport

- My US citizenship naturalization certificate

Do I need to include my Mom's birth certificate and her passport in the application as well? What about any financial documents or is this enough for now?

Thanks

hi

you only need one proof of citizenship, either your passport or certificate, not both

if your birth certificate isn't in English you need to attach a translation into English of said documents

if your mom has previous divorces, add a copy of that and copy of marriage certificate

any document not in English needs to be translated

no affidavit of support or her birth certificate for now, nor passport, all that at the NVC stage

and of course, payment, check or money order

Thanks for the reply. So you are saying that I do need to include my mom's birth certificate, passport and marriage certificate?

All documents are in english and my mom has no divorces. She doesnt have a birth certificate yet but will get it next week. Should I wait for it or send it without her birth certificate (with just her Marriage certificate and passport)?
