How long between getting notice of EAD/AP card being produced (via email/website) to receiving card in-hand?

Just wondering what people's experiences have been recently in terms of getting the update and getting the card in hand.  We're in NYC if that makes a difference.  Thank you!

Just thought I'd add my experience for the benefit of others:

 

I got my card in the mail BEFORE any online updates or emails.  All I recieved was an approval notice (in the mail) and the next day, the combo card.  In the days following, I got emails and case status updates online as well as notices in the mail saying my card was being produced, mailed, etc.  

Sometimes the updating process can be a little backwards.

I told them that I was scheduled to travel imminently and needed the tracking number.  I also signed up for myusps.com so I saw it coming.
