Do EP processing need a letter from NVC to do it?

Hi guys need help. Do not know what to do...

just got off the phone with Nvc and the agent told me my case is not Ep processing.

But i have a GTM case number.which makes me qualify for  email processing. What can i do guys need advice please.

Today is two weeks i sent my docs to Nvc.

Per the state department's website GTM cases have the option to choose between email or mail. If you emailed them I think you are fine, you should probably have case complete in the next week or so. My guess is that the agents on the phone don't really know all the details. I have seen before that people tried to call and have them confirm that their email and files were received, but they stated that they don't have access to that part of the system.

 

For us, it is similar but a bit different. We originally had a GUZ number, which is for the Guangzhou, China, consulate. GUZ is eligible to choose, like the GTM. But once we opt for email processing we get a new case number that starts with GZO. Some people going though Guangzhou are automatically assigned a GZO number and are required to use email processing.

2016 Oct - At the end of the time in China my parents, myself, and Xuan all traveled to Canada (7 days) so that we could get married, but unfortunately his mom couldn't come along with us.

2016 Oct 08 - Wedding day on top of Mount Washington on Vancouver Island, and it had just snowed the night before. (L)(L)

2017 Jan - Fourth trip to China (7 days), you guessed it: food, family, friends, spring festival, ...


The CR-1 Process:    NOA1 - PD 27 Dec 2016 (TSC)

2016 Dec 21 - Sent I-130 packet (along with G-1145 for e-notification) by USPS priority mail express (1-day), but missed the pick-up so it won't actually leave till the next day

2016 Dec 23 - Delivery confirmed by USPS

2017 Jan 03 - Payment drawn from bank account

2017 Jan 04 - Text and email confirming USCIS receipt of petition, assignment to Texas Service Center for processing and SRC case number

2017 Jan 09 - Received I-797c notice of action by mail (NOA1) with assigned priority date of 27 Dec 2016

2017 ??? ......... just waiting patiently for NOA2 (hopefully by April/May if they ever stop transferring cases from Nebraska)

Yeah, I would give it a week or so. We did not receive a letter instructing us to email our documents, we simply did it. The day after we got an email letting us know our new GZO case number. You don't have the benefit of having a new case number, but I think you are in the same situation as us, GUZ is in the same table (see the table for "Method 3" https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/Submit_documents.html) instructing that you can choose either method.
