Good afternoon,

I'm just finishing up my documents to send it tomorrow, my window opens on August, 5th. This website has been a great help and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me. I'm a bit worried that doesn't look a lot - its less than 1 inch of paper and most people say they have so much it wont fit a envelope

This is what I have right now:

Exhibit A (official government issued documents)

  • Copy of our marriage certificate
  • Copy of the birth certificate of our child born out of this marriage
  • Photocopies of New Mexico driver licenses of David Adam Nolte and Jessica Carvalho Correa, showing a shared address in Albuquerque, NM.
  • Photocopies of Arizona driver licenses of David Adam Nolte and Jessica Carvalho Correa, showing a shared address in Tucson, AZ and over the course of the marriage.

Exhibit B (tax return)

  • Copy of 2015 federal tax return showing filing status as “Married Filing Jointly”
  • Copy of 2015 state tax declaration (Utah and New Mexico) filing status as “Married”
  • Copy of W2 forms for 2015
  • IRS Tax Transcript for fiscal year 2015 showing filing status as “Married filing joint ”
  • Copy of 2016 federal tax transcript showing filing status as “Married Filing Jointly” and listing our son, Henry Dieter Correa Nolte, as dependent
  • Copy of 2016 state tax declaration (New Mexico and Arizona)  filing status as “Married”  and listing our son, Henry Dieter, as dependent
  • Copy of W2 forms for 2016
  • Copy of form 1095C showing health insurance coverage for all members of our family through David’s employer
  • IRS Tax Transcript for fiscal year 2016 showing filing status as “Married filing joint ”

Exhibit C (residential proof)

  • Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy in Albuquerque, NM
  • Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy in Tucson, AZ
  • Copy of our renew apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy plus our son in Tucson, AZ until 2019 showing intent to continue to reside together
  • Copy of Electric bill in our home in Tucson showing Jessica as additional financially responsible party

Exhibit D (financial comingling)

  • Photocopies of America First credit cards for David and Jessica showing a joint account (same card number), and joint financial obligations and responsibility over the course of the marriage
  • Original letter from American First bank stating joint access to savings and checking account since there is no printable page in their website that shows both names
  • Photocopies of America First statements showing comingling finances over the course of the marriage
  • Photocopies of 401K employee benefits showing Jessica as primary beneficiary
  • Photocopies of cell phone bill showing joint account, both our numbers and calls made to each other.

 Exhibit E (Insurance policies)

  • Photocopies of life insurance both for David and Jessica, showing joint insurance policies, the designation of beneficiary status to each other, and public identification as a married couple.
  • Photocopies of GEICO automobile insurance cards showing a joint automobile insurance policy over the course of the marriage.
  • Photocopies of Banner health insurance card showing a joint health insurance policy.

Exhibit F (Social events)

  • Plane tickets to international travels to Brazil, Mexico and Spain showing vacations as a family.
  • Photographs of the family, demonstrating consistent and continuous public affection, attendance, interaction, and identification as a married couple at family functions and in public.

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciate it

Thank you so much for you help.

You should include monthly statements of your joint accounts and joint credit cards that have a time span of your marriage. Also, you can include wills and medical power of attorney.

You forgot to include a copy of your green card....they are going to want to see that for sure ;)

Also a copy of both passports (especially to prove one of you is a USC)

If you have a social security card, include a copy of that, or a copy of your EAD.

Passport and SSN card copies are not required at the removal of conditions stage. Nor is EAD. Passport pages showing stamps to show both traveled together internationally can be added but also not required.

No it's not required---but in my opinion, it's always better to front-load an application :D

More is always better than less, when it comes to USCIS, I think.

Thank you all.

I have the green card copy - it's listed with the check since is mandatory evidence. But thank you for the reminder.

I'm sending statements but not monthly - only a couple for each each. Is that enough? I also have the cellphone bill listed as financial evidence.

I will add the dates of the leases. Anything to make their job easier and faster hehe

Thank you!
