After submitting all documents to the NVC. I called them and they told me to wait for two months which I have waited for the two months.  Just few days ago... I checked the Status on Ceac website and I saw AT NVC

PLEASE WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

It means the documents are still at the NVC where you submitted them.  They are badly back-logged these days so things do take a bit of time because they have hundreds of applicants to go through.

Thank you, Please I heard that when you wait after two months and you see AT NVC it means they have approved and getting ready to be shipped to your country for the Interview. Please how true is that?

Hard to tell, because again there is a backlog to deal with.  Have you reached out to your embassy for more information about your case?

No I haven't. I only checked it online at the Ceac website. lol 😂 I was so happy when I saw AT NVC. I guess the person who told me has deceived me.

Thank you, i spoke with them in Middle of July and they told me to expect news from them in 3rd week of August. But someone told me when you check the status and you see AT NVC it means it has been approved and ready to be shipped to your country for interview.

If NVC told you exactly when to expect news, you should believe them over your friend.  It's only the first week of August so you have little over two weeks to still wait to hopefully hear something.

You and/or your spouse should receive an e-mail from the NVC when your case is approved, and it will tell you that the case is being sent to the embassy and you should wait for further contact, which can take up to 3 months. I would suggest calling them for an update anyway, though.

Hi,

Generally when you see "At NVC" it means your case has been completed!

You should get the confirmation email about a week after that and the next step is for you to be scheduled for an interview, so whoever you spoke with was correct!

You can always call the NVC to confirm as well-sometimes the screen shows that for a checklist I've heard also, but let's just go with a cc on this one 😄

If you check the following forums you will see many examples like your own 😊
