Does anybody know how long it takes to get an interview scheduled in Boston?! I don't know whether it's work applying for the work authorization at this point.

I did a service request to which they responded "your application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are unable to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your application."

Thanks

They allowed cell phone in the USCIS offices?   Here in Houston, we are not allowed to take them in especially if your there for an interview.

My husband was playing/ watching videos on his phone while we were waiting for the interview. I begged him not to but he didn't really care and no one said anything

Last time I went to USCIS for another reason, they asked me if I had a cell phone, I said No, left it in the car,  he said good, otherwise we would of had to of hold it till I left.

Maybe things have changed on the no cell phone rule.

 Have a good day!

It depends on the office. The St. Albans office in Vermont where I did my biometrics didn't allow cell phones in the building but I'm almost certain the Boston office allows cell phones as long as you don't use them

Probably depends on the case. We filed on March 27th, bio appointment came quick, then a month later they sent us an RFIE (additional proof of co-sponsor's income), our reply took a couple of months because of our work schedules and getting the needed information from the co-sponsor. EAD card was mailed a couple of weeks after  our RFIE response, and then not even a week later they scheduled our interview for the end of this month. I think EAD always makes sense - you are not paying any additional fees for it when you AOS and it helps in case your AOS application gets held up.
