Ok we have our interview in Seattle(Tukwila really) and what I would like to know is will they ask for stuff like airline ticket stubs, hotel reservations etc?also has anyone who is a bit older like in there 40s/50s gone for the interview just wondered if it is any different for older couples as opposed to younger ones,we have plenty of evidence of course but I was thinking that they might not be as severe with us because of our age,but am prepared for the worst.

Hoo theer marra waat sek fettle?

The Interview is easy... just be yourself and tell the truth and you should be ok... we were both in our 40's and had the same sort of interview as everyone else.... so I dont think being older makes any diffrence...

Take what evidence you have and make sure you have copies of everything so if the officer want it for your file you can give a copy instead of the original...

Good Luck

Good luck at the interview in Tukwila. That's where both myself and my daughter had our AOS interviews.

It was very straight-forward and uneventful really. You put your appointment notice in a tray and then wait for the officer to come out and call your name.

Once inside the interviewer's office, they will swear you both in and ask for your passport to remove the I-94 and then just basically go through your paperwork asking for any documents they need to see, and ask you both some questions about yourselves. We were in and out in probably 10 or 15 minutes. My daughter's GC arrived in 7 days. Mine took a little longer, but that was a while ago, and they have changed things since then.

We live right near you guys in Orting. I have actually been wondering how you are both doing. Hope you are both well and adjusting to married life and living in America.

Best wishes. PM me if you have any other questions.
