Possible problem at the Port of Entry

Hi guys, i'm new here and I don't know where to put this topic.

 

So, I have a FX2 (F2A) visa and I am already approved. My concern is with the Port of Entry. Before the CO approved my visa, I was given 221(g) the white one because my birth certificate was registered late (4 years) and they asked for secondary documents. I complied all the suggested documents but still the CO wasn't convinced. I was under AP for almost 2 months. The consul suggested DNA testing which we did and the result came out 99.99999%. One week after they recieved the results, they issued my visa. But my real concern now is, will my birth certificate cause a delay and further investigation when I arrive at the port of entry even though I already did the DNA test? Does anyone have the same situation? Thank you! 😊

I don't think it would be an issue. You've complied and submitted secondary documents and got your DNA tested. Otherwise you wouldn't have been given the visa to enter legally.

I concur. CBP doesn't really know how to check birth certificates and such. Once the visa is issued (and is not revoked), unless there is reason for CBP to believe it's terms will be violated, there shouldn't be an issue.

 

For instance, if somebody got a K-1 visa (to marry in the US) but CBP finds evidence that they married abroad, their entry can be denied. But for a birth certificate reviewed by the embassy already, I don't see any issue.
