Hello VisaJourney

I would like to share my case to see if someone has a similar case and can help me out.

In september from last year i had a withrawal of application of admission on the border of Mexico and the USA. Im married to a us citizen and so they went through mu phone and i had to confess that i had been living in the states for about two years, coming back and forth and spending some days in Mexico. Anyways long story short they made me sing an I-275 form and a I-877 sworn statement. I was given a copy of the I-275 but not a copy of the I-877.

We are now processing a CR-1 visa and my interview in Ciudad Juarez would be soon, i was wondering if anybody know exactly what the i-877 says? I dont remember many of the questions they asked me, or how can I ask for a copy of that paper work so i dont commit a mistake at the interview.

Thank you!

You can file a FOIA/Privacy Act request to obtain copies of the documents you signed at the border.

Provided you were allowed to withdraw your application for admission then that should not affect your CR-1 process. But it's possible you gave yourself a 9C bar depending on exactly how long in aggregate you had spent illegally in the US. A 9C bar is a lifetime permanent bar which you can only apply for a waiver of after being outside the US for 10 years.
