Hi! I'm a little bit confused. My fiance received an email last July 26 congratulating me with my upcoming interview and listed the documents that i needed to present.

It also have the Case number and the Manila number and some of the details. The letter also contain the instruction on how to schedule for the medical and the interview

But I'm a little bit confused because i didn't received any email or mail from the embassy, i'm expecting to received a hard copy of the email that they sent to my fiance but unfortunately, until now i didn't hear anything from them. Can i have my medical exam done and schedule for an interview even if the embassy still didn't contact me?

If ever I schedule my medical exam 2 weeks or more prior my interview, will it be valid? Or the embassy will advise me to redo my medical exam?

Hope someone can help me with this. Thank you so much in advance..

Get your NVC case number if you don't have it already. The American needs to call NVC unless you already have the MNL case number.

You don't need anything else.

The Filipino Citizen should start filling out the DS-160 ASAP.

Schedule the medical as soon as you can.

Schedule the interview at least 10 days or so after that to give them time to get the results to the US Embassy in time for the interview.

CFO as well

Congrats.

Actually we already have the case number and we are already done with the DS 160, i'll just need to upload a picture and review before submitting it.

Thank you so much, I thought that medical exam should be the same week with the interview.

By the way Ms. LabOz, i saw on the internet that i need a evidence of support during interview. Upon checking the list of requirements, it is not included on the list. Do the interviewer always ask for it?

My fiance sister told me that we need to present the evidence of support once we get married and file for change of status. Thank you so much for the help

The instructions say I-134 affidavit of support. Bring pay stubs and last few years tax returns.

However the US Embassy in Manila hasn't asked for financial evidence in years.

Yes you will need it at AOS.

I'm the Male Kano my fiancee in the PI is the beneficiary.

Hi!! I've just finished my interview today. eventually the consul didn't say if  i get approved or denied..

I've answer all her questions and after that she gave me a pamphlets about Domestic Violence in the US and Facts about immigrating on a marriage based visa. and informed me that i'll receive my passport after 2-3 weeks. I'm assuming that ive got a positive result, but still there is a chance that i'm just assuming.

Did this happened to anyone? Thank you:)
