Questions of Form I-765

Hello everyone, I have a question about form I-765. I am a K-1 visa holder, and I am going to adjust my status when I get to the States next month.

we are still working on studying what we need to prepare. I know the Form I-485 that we will fill for AOS.

Then we confuse if we also need to pay extra fee for form I-765 when we submit all these application forms to USCIS? As I know it will be not required if you are under some conditions.

 

My fiance said we need to pay for it. But I saw some other posts,they applied for it in 2015,they didn't mention it.

 

So if we need to pay for it, should we separate 2 check which is for I-485 and I-765?

I-765 and i-131 are for free when you file together with i-485 or already have a pending i-485.

 

So all you need to send is a check in the amount of $1225 ($1140 for i-485 and $85 for biometrics).
