We filed to remove conditional status on Aug, 2016. October we got this message listed below, but didn't see this message until last week! However, November we did biometric so we thought there is nothing else to be done. We have to travel out of country next month. Our 1 year extension end in Aug. We took info pass and waiting to go to them. has anyone gone through this?

On October 13, 2016, the Post Office returned your document for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WACXXXX, to us because they could not deliver it. We will hold your document for 180 days or until April 11, 2017. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-requestto request that we re-send the document to you, or call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you do not submit an online request or call us by April 11, 2017, we will destroy your document and you will need to file a new Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, with fee. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Did you receive your extension notice? Clearly you must have received your biometrics notice since you did your bio. Those are the only 2 notices you would have received in that time span since you mailed your package in August.

Yes,

we did those two notices in time...

OP doesn't have to resubmit anything if they only missed the extension notice but OP needs to clarify what they missed.

We already received two documents -extension and biometric notice-in time, so it is unclear that what document they talking about...!

This is the part that looks weird to me. They're not asking OP to re-file the I-751 or an RFE related to the I-751, it seems like they're telling OP that they'll have to essentially file a new copy of the receipt notice/extension letter USCIS sends out that states USCIS received their petition, and "with fee". It almost looks like a template letter where they inserted the wrong document reference or something...

I'm thinking it's a glitch.

OP, have you called customer service and discussed this?

I talked to a higher level agent and he said that everything is ok. He asked us to go to a local office to get secondary extension which takes 10-15 min apparently. He said June applications are being looked at now. Thank you all for replying to our message.
