Feinstein: Trump’s Immigration Legislation Will Not Pass Senate

- Any situation where a single Senator outright says they will do everything to prevent legislation, a procedural vote to eliminate filibuster for that bill should proceed. As much as I like the concept of a filibuster, this is just ridiculous. Moves like this give extra credence to Trump's call to flat out eliminate legislative filibuster.

- "America has to be what the statue of liberty says" .. or in leftyspeak "what my interpretation of it is".

 

Was anyone else here aware that the statue of liberty is the law of the land? You learn something new every day from the imagination of a sect of people.

Here’s John Boehner, the likely speaker if Republicans take the House, offering his plans for Obama’s agenda: “We're going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his plan to National Journal: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

Please, not the truth, or you'll never hear the end of the hissy fits. The so-called president already has his mail order bride, so he doesn't care about non-skilled illegal immigrants, as Melania once was. Of course, we all know this will not pass in the senate, so expect heavy blizzard conditions from the MDR/MORs. They don't like when people disagree with the supreme leader.
