Every now and then (albeit a rarity since Trump) Joe and his panel pulls their heads out their ### and say something logical.

Funny how the same thing doesn't seem to apply to the second amendment when it was written in the 18th century.

You keep forgetting Trump is a Grade A Moron. Oh and if he did recommend a single payer system and was genuine about it I would support him on that. My problem with Trump is his behavior and impulsiveness.

He has been for single payer since before he even announced he was running.  I am sorry, but I am going to choose that the MDL would completely Protest trump if he signed that bill.

I have listened to the full exchange and Acosta appeared to sound like an idiot.  First equating the US immigration policy with a fund raising poem in the base of the Statue of Liberty, the confusing legal immigration and illegal immigration, and finally showing his bigotry by generalizing that only people in the UK or Aus speak English.  Either he is an idiot, or just getting terribly flustered, or maybe a combination of both.  One thing that was clear is that Jim Acosta wants open borders.

I loved that part how we are ONLY going to "accept people from England and Austrailia now because of the English requirement". It just really showed to me how much Acosta is out of whack with the rest of the world and stuck up there in his ivory tower.

For example as I have said before on here I used to work in Afghanistan as a Military Contractor, but what was funny to me was that my company would try and save money by ONLY recruiting Indians to fill the spot of TCN's. So if anyone doesn't know there are over 1300 different languages of varying intelligibility in India but the two main ones are Hindi and English, and everybody from a different region speaks a different language. So I overheard a Southern Indian speaking to a Northern Indian in English in order to convey something about the work they were doing at the time. So I asked the Southern Indian why he didn't just speak to other one in Hindi? He replied back to me that "he is from Southern India and can only speak Telugu, Malayalam, and English". He does not know how to speak in Hindi and does not want to learn it because of some cultural domination from the Northerners. This really surprised me and I asked how common this is and he said it's actually very common in the South and that's why they still keep English as one of the official languages.

Maybe he should. The left might convert to capitalism.

I put a tattoo on my hand like the guy from Memento.. "remember Canada".

I tend to forget.. all that self-loathing after the required citizenship oath having to declare loyalty to a Queen.

When you look at it, Miller was pretty lost. He couldn't support the premise of the bill on its own, so he threw in a red herring in the conversation. Acosta called him on the fact that the law is really intended as another discrimination tool used by this administration. They can paint it however they want, but out here in the real-fact world, people really know what they are trying to do.

In any case, Miller lost his cool, threw a hissy fit on camera, and has the whole country laughing at him. He's supposed to act like an agent of the government of the United States, not a Jerry Springer guest. Luckily he didn't throw a chair at Acosta.

I was really expecting a chair in all honesty. I thought Acosta was over the line and clearly badgering him and I am glad Miller kept his cool as much as he did. I might have said something differently like STFU and SIT DOWN if it was me. But I though Acosta lost his cool and it showed.

Does English speak Canadians even want to accept French Speaking Quebec-ans?

Clearly Acosta wanted to get in his narrative. I honestly wouldn't have argued with the tantrum throwing SJW, I'd have told him either get to the point or you know where the exit is. Pretty sure those pressers are not for debates.
