I have listened to the full exchange and Acosta appeared to sound like an idiot.  First equating the US immigration policy with a fund raising poem in the base of the Statue of Liberty, the confusing legal immigration and illegal immigration, and finally showing his bigotry by generalizing that only people in the UK or Aus speak English.  Either he is an idiot, or just getting terribly flustered, or maybe a combination of both.  One thing that was clear is that Jim Acosta wants open borders.

Then why was Acosta bringing up illegal immigration?  I know what the bill says and it puts us in line with Canada's immigration policy.  Is Canada's policy wrong?

I just call it as I see it.  I realize that no one is supposed to call out the MDL and arguing with them is like fighting a land war in Asia, but Acosta was the loser in this exchange clearly, but of course many have rose colored glasses. 

 

CNN is fake news and of course they would have edited anything to make them and Acosta to look good.

I suppose I wouldn't mind the proficiency in english requirement - would at least eliminate a lot of the catalog-bride type relationships clogging up the spousal visa process......
