Love the new policy. I suspect we will have to wait until after the midterms when we will be able to clean up the swamp a little more.

Been a while since a promise was fulfilled.

The idiot from Cosmo, Acosta, his tantrum was priceless.

Miller put that fool in his place. Acosta is a perfect example how most of those so called journalists are pathetic.

Even that dumb as a box of rocks April was shut down.

So the legal immigrant to Canada is all for limiting legal immigration to the US? Go figure!

They sure act like babies.  It would be great if Sara brought in one of her kids used pacifiers and tossed it over to someone like Acosta when he starts one of his tantrums.

I wasn't aware that:

- Me immigrating to Canada,  especially in a class not subject to quotas, was related whatsoever to this discussion.. but +1 for the ad hominem

- Immigration was a free for all.

Always a learning experience.

Jim Acosta handed Stephen Miller's rear end on a platter. At one point Miller seemed he was about to start throwing things around.

Jim's questions threw Miller a curve ball, and he just about had a hissy fit on camera.

This is one desperate administration. No wonder the so-called president's ratings are the lowest ever. LOL.

It just seems like such a staunch supporter of sacred borders would be the last one to emmigrate anywhere. Especially the Leftist, Socialist, letting so many of the people you express deep concern Donald Trump stops from coming to America in, Canada. While tangential, I thought it was a fair observation.

The legislation faces an uphill battle in the Senate, however, where it’s expected to get pushback from Democrats as well as GOP senators who oppose strict limits on legal immigration and want a broader reform effort that would address the roughly 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S.

If Cotton and Perdue can get GOP leadership to bring the legislation up for a vote, supporters will need to cobble together 60 senators, including at least eight Democrats or independents, to agree to start debate on the legislation.

I wouldn't count my chickens before they're hatched with this one, doesn't look to me like it could pass. I also don't think cutting legal immigration by half is a solution. We all know a big part of the problem already and the reason people do it illegally is because lets face it it's not easy or cheap. I think legal immigration needs to be streamlined, and I definitely think it needs reform but not in order to cut it, rather in order to make it cheaper and easier for some...it is in our best interest that if people have an option to do it legally, they would, which would make it easier to vet them and know where they are - instead of being forced to do it illegally and then you have no clue who or where they are.
