I'm the US petitioner applying for a K-1 visa and I apologize in advance if these questions were already asked a million times but....

1. Do the letter of intent that I include in the packet have to be the actual form that was signed by my fiancé or is a signed, scanned copy okay?

2. When asked for place of issuance for my US birth certificate do I put address of place or name of place ? The box isn't big enough for both.

3. With copies of certificates even though there's nothing on the back do I still make a copy of the blank back page on its own separate sheet? Do I mark that sheet as "the back" so they know?

4. Addresses in other countries, if there's no actual number or zip code/ state can we just put town/ country and "N/A or None" in the other boxes? Will they accept that as form of address?

5. If one parent information for my fiancé isnt attainable can we put n/a? For example: my fiancés father passed away when he was young and he doesn't remember much of his father (cause he wasn't really there) and mom doesn't have any documentation/demographic info about him except for his first and last name, can I just put N/A for parent 2 info if they knew of him but he wasn't active in their lives before he passed?

6. Do I have to write anything on my pictures? Like name and place/ date? What about evidence of conversations? Anyone knows how to download Facebook messenger chat history? Or filter out phone calls for iPhone with dates and times and such?

All answers/help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! 😊

They are looking for the City and State.

You don't have to.

Put N/A in those boxes.

Even though the information is unattainable, the parent is/was still legally their parent, so you cannot put "not applicable" as it will appear that you are choosing that the parent information does not apply to your fiance.  Even though he has passed, he is still her biological father.  Better to write "UNKNOWN"  in those boxes.  If you are filling out the info online and it doesn't allow you to type in UNKNOWN, print it out and then write it in using black ink.  In case this lack of information is questioned later on down the road, I would see about having your fiance get a copy of his death certificate.

You don't have to write it if you don't want to.  Writing it wouldn't hurt anything, either.  As for Facebook----you can open up the messenger into a wider screen and either screenshot it or use cut/paste into a Word document and print it out that way.

A scanned copy of the intent to marry is fine.  Make sure your fiance takes the original to the interview in case they want it for some reason.
