Your step by step instructions are in the article that you claim act it is an amazing feat. They are clearly doing a really poor job of doing that then, since they clearly spell it out as you have done.

I already explained -- by conjuring up this issue of stigma. If that isn't the answer you desired, I dunno what to say, but asking again isn't going to get you a different answer.

 

As for birth control, the article mentioned they took hormone therapy drugs.. acts just like birth control. No idea what your confusion here is.
