B1 visa

Hello every one,i have applied for B1 visa on july 31, 2017 at islamabad embassay , i am actually attending a conference in USA in september.The interview was fine.she just asked me few questions .The Visa Officer did not ask me for any letter,just ask to hand over my CV to her,then she handed over me 221 (g) white slip,and administrative  processing start,the current status is "administrative processing" shown on DOS website.and this conference is fully funded by US government.Now can any one tell me when will the AP will be completed (estimated time)???any one has this type of experience.

Nobody can tell you how long it will take and plenty have had this experience.

As said above no one can say. It can take weeks, months and sometimes years.

Did they keep the passport? Did they tell you if it was denied? 

 

If they kept the passport is a good sign. But nobody knows how long.

What else did they ask? Did they ask about your bank certificate? I am attending also a conference.

no.because my conference is fully funded by us government

You put it on your visa application that you are going to be sponsored in all finances? Thats why they dont ask you anything abt bank statement.
