Number of visits

My fiance and I have a total of 5 visits so far. The first 4 visits were for 4 days each, and the 5th visit was for 1 week, This October will be our one year anniversary. I plan on visiting him for 2 weeks this time. We kinda don't want to wait until after October to get the petition started though. My question is, will having that 6th visit for 2 weeks make a difference at the embassy level, or it won't matter anyway because we already have 5 visits and fulfilled the requirement of "having met at least once within the last 2 years" (in our case just 1 year)?

The requirement for the I-129F is just 1 visit within the past 2 years. Any of your visits will satisfy this requirement fine.

At the embassy stage, they will determine if the relationship is bona fide. They will look at the totality of the circumstances. Some people have been approved with just one visit, while others have been denied with many more. It's all about the evidence, total face time, the embassy involved (CR isn't the easiest but it's far from the hardest, too), and your individual circumstances (i.e. if you have any red flags that jump out as odd).

I only met my fiancee 3 times prior to filing the I-129F, but each time was for a little over 2 weeks. And I also came with her to the interview. If you can be there for the interview, it can help your case. Good luck!

I'm not sure if they count days but longer visits are better because it means you are spending time together and not just meeting to fulfill a requirement. Even though you've had a lot of visits, you have only spent a month in total together so far.

But I think it is enough for the K1 and the country you are from since you need 1 visit in the past 2 year.

I think you will be fine filing now, with another visit during the process and then ideally being there for the interview.
