I don't understand this whole "Touched" thing is all about? I have registered on the USCIS website and have the email notifications enabled. Is there an option to see if your case has been touched by them? Please help..

Thanks..

A touch is something when someone with the service center has looked at your application or done something with it (no matter how small). The only way to see if its touched is check the status everyday and on the home screen there is a Last Updated field. If this changes that means your application has been "touched".

Thanks..

Jay

Use the USCIS/Touched link at the bottom of my signature .. enter the WAC number from either the back of the check that you used to pay USCIS or from your NOA-1 hardcopy to sign up .. if the "last updated" date changes then you have been touched
