what forms to get notorized?

I am about to send my I-129F and supporting materials to INS. I noticed on the tips page it says you should get 3 notorized copies. I am thinking I just need to get my birth certificate/passport copies notorized, or am I wrong and should I do as much of the packet as possible?

You don't need anything notarized at this stage. You will need to notarize the I134 only when the K1 interview comes. Good Luck

A notarized document shows that a notary public verified the identity of the person who signed the document.

If there is no signature, notarization is pointless. So copies of birth certificates and passports cannot be notarized.

You only need to send photocopies of all the documents you send in at this stage (except the forms, I-129F and G-325A should be originals). You will need all the originals of the documents and the notarized I-134 at the interview.

When does the I-134 have to be notarized? If I do that now it will be many months before my fiance's interview (we are dealing with Vietnam, so you kow the story there).

Wait until she gets her Packet 3 before you notorize your I-134. You will have plenty of time because after she gets her packet 3 you will still have a 2 month wait before she gets her interview date.

Yes, you can send copies with the original petition just as long as you sign that one document that youswear all copies are exact copies of originals... the notarization comes later!!!!!
