AOS - schedule for interview how long to wait?

Hello Visa Journey!

 

 

Sent papers (AOS, and EAD) last June 1 , 2017

 

Case updated last July 12 , 2017 AOS - saying 

 they are going to schedule me for an interview and they gonna send notice. My question is how long approximately the waiting for that interview? 

 

Also my EAD still the same no update yet. 

 

Also, im planning to get my ssn number what documents should i bring since i dont  have yet my EAD? Or should i just wait for my EAD first , any good advice . I am here at the state of Nevada are they super strict about ssn procedures? Thanks

How long ago did you get here? 

 

By now you probably will need your ead to get a ssn

Just go to ss office with your passport and i-9 computer print out. And if your i-9 is still valid go immediately to dmv to get your state i.d. once it expires you must wait till you get your ead. That's my experience in new jersey though i don't know of nevada
