I am trying to start my AOS process. I came to the USA via Greyhound back in 2012 and married my husband shortly after my arrival. I was never given an I-94 nor was I given an admittance stamp in my passport. I don't really have any evidence that I entered legally.
I found some information online saying I need to contact CBP, others mentioning an I-102 form, and others saying I should get an immigration lawyer?
I am worried that my overstay of many years is going to affect me trying to get an I-94 and that I might be deported if I tried contacting CBP.
I hope that you can help us in this matter.

Did you enter US legaly? How can you take greyhound and enter US illegaly?

As far as I know, they now digitalized i 94s. You can now download it from DHS website. You said you entered in 2012, I am not sure when they started this digital thing.

I think that Canadians don't get i-94 and they sometimes don't get their passport stamped so without any evidence, you are not overstaying.

You can check online for your i-94 (if you have one)  https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/

The form you mentioned is to get the i-94 before it was automatized (not from when you came in). Before it was just a piece of paper. Basically, the form is useless

There are plenty of threads on VJ with Canadians with your same situation. I just checked. Maybe some of them have a solution.

Do you have to original ticket you used to get in? Maybe that is useful.

Here, this person was able to AOS without the paperwork (see at the end)

Maybe, try to include your greyhound ticket (you might have something on your email) and information that Canadians don't get i-94 or stamps. You can print official information from CBP or something. Or you could take this to the interview. I don't know.

I used to cross the border often and noticed on many occasions, Canadians are just waved through, without their passport checked or even scanned.

This reminded me of one time, when I landed in Rome and approved the immigration counter, an officer took a look at the cover of my psssport, without even opening it and look at my biographic page, waved me through.
