My bad, I thought this was an immigration forum, not a pregnancy talk forum. This isn’t the place for chit chat.

Yeah there's a button in my profile that says ignore. I'd rather laugh about this process and use analogies to laugh than wait for whatever talk is "immigration"

Although that button ignore would also mean ignoring lots of immigration talk 🤔🤔🤔

Oh, I am sorry did we offend you? Our apologies if we did. You see, this forum will always be an IMMIGRATION FORUM but the definition of this forum doesn't stop there. I believe that this was created not only for immigration discussions but also to build camaraderie and friendship to everyone who are going through this process. Please scroll pass the "chit chats" if it's not your cup of tea. Thank you @noraliz73, you're one of my inspiration in this forum girl.

This is 140 days waiting me. I don't know what's going to happen around 180 days waiting...

160 days here, girl! If not for my VJ family, I would've gone mental by now. So I say thank you to everyone who had been here and sharing information to keep us in balance. Don't worry, I will be here and cheer you up and I will celebrate with you once you got your approval. I am really thankful that you're going through the K1 process the same time as us because we got to meet an amazing human being. We are so grateful for you @Naes

Well the way I think we are trying to keep each other sane here. And I'm grateful. I am getting information here and trying to help as many with whatever I know.

and if that a few minutes of laughter bothers someone I can't do anything about it. If it's not ok to talk here about a uscis analogy, then admins can delete it too. But those a few minutes of laughter keeps me sane while I try to keep others sane. And they were precious to my day!

i really can't wait for everyone to finally settle so we can do this "chit chat" somewhere in the real world, and that time it won't be an analogy or sarcasm towards this misery but will be about real happiness and joy of marriage and having kids.

Hi Guys! I’m the beneficiary of my fiancé. We have a file or NN01 date of August 28th for the I-129F

I’ve been lurking for months and finally wanted to get involved. Yes, I admit my finger nails are incredibly short these days but it’s looking like the next few months will yield the answer we’re all awaiting.

I wouldn’t say I’m nervous about moving to the US as I’ve been visiting for over 10 years ago and feel I fit in really well in the US. I guess the nervousness is the same I get whenever I am flying international… Do I everything I need etc.

Anyways, I am not sure where to add the case number yet but when I do, I’ll add it.

Nice to be on board guys!

Hiiii!!!

welcome to August!

You dont have to add case number to anything ;) do you know where to check it? Use the uscis website tracker. For overall process it will be info about whole month without the need to give your number or anything but for yourself check it in the website :)

But be nice to your fingernails! You'll need them pretty for the pictures with Wedding band!

I also get updates from the app, but it isn't entirely accurate. It doesn't include all approvals or RFEs, the scans posted like the one just posted here have a lot more info.. And lately we believe even that isn't everything (they're sending out letters without online updates). But I really hope that Aug approval was real!! I'd be more confident if it was an early Aug.. touching mid Aug seems weird

Do you mind if I ask... How you know that they are sending out letter without online updates?

I still feel that even though I am the US Citizen, I am the beneficiary.  I am getting so much more out of this than my fiancé.  He was quite happy in his own country and is coming here to be with me.  USCIS and the whole process will be giving me the best gift ever of having my best friend here with me to start a life together!

As far as USCIS analogies, I sometimes call them NCIS.  We are all cases that are being scrutinized.  I can just picture a supervisor being stressed and working on a boat in his basement, a dumb employee that gets hit on the back of his head by his supervisor, and a goth girl working on the deep data mining researching all of our histories.  That makes it a little more comical and easier to bear than thinking of them as a bunch of suits in cubicles who are bored and so sick of looking at petitions that they all look the same and they just give RFEs.  Got to keep smiling!  :)  I wonder if USCIS has a Dr. Mallard, ("DUCKIE") too, lol.

By following May and Juneand july  you can see tones of people moving to NVC without updates.

thats why people inform if it is only a hard copy, there are also no update rfes.

they are not updating the system most of the time now. Especially approvals.

This is a place where we come to share information.  It is also a place where people who are going through the same hardship come to make friends and support one another.  Some people are barely staying sane by keeping company with the other "waiters" that are on here.  If that is not your "cup of tea, feel free to skim past the chit chat posts.  You are welcome too.

Aahhh! I've used up my Reactions! Okay now, take these! 😍😘😘😘💖💖💖💖💯🥂
