Does anyone know if you can take the medical early at all?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Knightsbridge won't let you book it without your case number but you could definitely double check

Hi everyone! We submitted our I-129 last 9th August and they receive it last 11 August. We receive the original NOA1 in the mail last 21st August dated 15th August. While waiting for the NOA2 my fiance wants to prepare the documents that he needs to send to me with the Affidavit of Support. What else should he sent to me aside from the tax return? Can anyone help me?

Applied for AOS/EAD/AP : August 7, 2018 (via USPS)

USCIS Chicago received the package: August 9, 2018

Im with the same doubts! For what I saw is tax returns, a document from the back with amount of money that he has and a letter of the employer (what he works on, when he started working there and this kind of things. Is really that?

Plus Im curious to know when to ask him to sent that, since  want to get everything ready to finish this process as soon as it arrives at my embassy. I saw somewhere that it doesn't need to be original on this that it can all be scanned and sent by email from him to me.

What you guys think??

I am the petitioner , I plan on only doing the affidavit of support form, tax return copy , letter from my bank and employer. all you need is proof your working and can meet the poverty threshold requirement. Tax return is MAJOR proof. keep in mind not all VO's ask for income proof, just the support form.

Also, visit your fiancé more than once! if only 1 time then chances of a "no" is very high! they will think "why he/she only visit you one time?" I went to visit my fiancé twice already and have evidence to support it and I will be there for the interview period as well, so when they ask her "how many times he come to Taiwan to visit you?" she will say "3 times and he is here now waiting on the decision of this interview :) "

Yes, fortunately we have met each other a few times since we started dating. He is not coming to the interview though

I don't plan to send anything, I plan to be there for the interview and all that support documentation I believe is handed over at the time of the interview. So I will bring it with me.

Reason I plan to be there for the interview is , 1. It will be my 3rd trip and helps out on the "how many times he come visit you" question, and 2. We plan on booking the flight together to the USA after we have the visa IN HAND! which is 3-5 days after the interview, why? because they do a last minute check on the beneficiary before issuing the visa. She and I will go through USA customs together, I asked customs this question when I got back last week he said if I want to go through with her together use the "foreigner entry line"

Hello new friends!

So excited to have found this forum! Nobody else understands what I'm going through during the process so I'm very happy to meet you all. My name is Jacqueline and I met my fiancé, Osmany, in Cuba earlier this year at a friend's wedding. Went back a couple months ago to make sure that love at first sight is a thing...I'm here to tell you it is! He proposed on the beach in Guanabo on July 4th.

My timeline so far:

Aug 11: shipped paperwork via UPS to Texas

Aug 15: received notification it was delivered

Aug 18: received email and text message from USCIS with receipt number

Aug 25: received NOA1 in the mail (woohoo!)

So now I wait for the NOA2...keeping myself as busy as possible. Anyone else have a fiancé in Cuba? Praying that this process is swift and smooth for everyone! And I'd be down for an Atlanta meet up...saw the Atlanta Fish Market in an earlier thread...yum!!

Heeyyyy!!!!

My Fiancé is in Cuba too!!! Aayyyyy!!  What part of Cuba?

I just came back from a visit last month. I am sure we will need to swap notes later on. I've had other family members marry Cubans as well.

My my story is kind of similar to yours. I met my fiancé through my cousin when i went to visit family in Cuba in the beginning of 2017. I really didnt think we would keep in contact and grow a bond, but I was wrong.  Like you i recently visited to see if it was really worth it.  I'm trying to go out there for another visit hopefully before the interview process (i will go for that too).

08/24/17:  I129F sent to Lewisville, TX.

08/25/17:  I129F delivered.

08/29/17:  E-notification of NOA1.

09/02/17:  Hard copy of NOA1 came in the mail.

Hi!!!

That's so exciting!! He lives in La Habana. I was planning to go again in October, but now think it may be better to go during the holidays. I am definitely traveling back for the interview as well! Where does your fiancé live?

Keep in mind those of you like me that plan on being there when the interview takes place remember they will NOT let you the petitioner be present at the window, only the person needing the visa. If when they call his/her number and you walk to the window with them they will ask you to go back to your seat. Only the person needing the visa is allowed to be interviewed, I know it sucks, but it's part of their method to determine fake or real relationships.

I do plan to be there at the interview, in the waiting area, my fiancé will motion to the VO that I'm there when they ask her how many times he come to visit you. so the VO will know I'm sitting there.

We got our noa1 in the mail today! Super excited but the wait time for the noa2 is going to drive me nuts lol

congrats, one step closer than you were last month. Its a long process in my mind, thank GOD! NFL season starts Thursday at least that will help my time go by fast as I watch every Thursday , sunday and Monday games so weeks will go fast for me. But for my fiancé not so fast.

On the 7th of this month I will already be 1 month into the waiting process, for Taiwan the average is 3 months wait between NOA1 and NOA2 and not the usual 4 months, then interview is within 2 months after NOA2.
