Seriously, woke up in the middle of the night on this one but really a potential benefit for the folks who get interviews before April is that you can file your taxes now and use the latest income capture OR you can file taxes after the interview and use the prior years capture. It may not matter to most but if someone out there has a significant or unavoidable income decline and you're at the mercy of your tax returns... something to think about!! Ha ha... this really is a sign that we're all going crazy!! 🤣 P.S. This in no form constitutes tax advice and I take no responsibility for your personal actions! 👍

Just adding to that:

However you would still need to show previous year (2017) income as w2 and/or pay stubs, etc.

Excited seeing all these approved and moving papers. Hopefully February will be for August 2017 Filers already and Approve. How many months will be the waiting time before they can send to Embassy where fiancee will be interview? Thank You so much

2-3 weeks after Noa2 to NVC and case number

then about 1 week to get to embassy.

So usually if no backlog happens 1 month or less.

As check to USCIS page as of November 30, 2017

So is this accurate? Or a bit of delayed? All K1 visa is through California am I right? Thanks you for your assistance. I am just excited and can't wait for the time that we can be reunited after 6 months from my fiancee visit.

That is the petition only, not the K1 visa

It is partially accurate.

But August is almost at 180 days so hopefully only 1 more month or less left till noa2.

Thanks sorry for the term so this is where we fall, under this category which is the petition. And am I right Only California do the process? So in this case since partial so might be they are already doing for the August Petition, so yes maybe February end or hopefully earlier NOA 2 will be send already for all of us.

Thank You Naes

I-129F. is correct, but that timeline is only for the petitions, does not show the full K1 visa process.

And no, if it was send you would get it the most in 10 days, it does not work like that.

Right now, they are doing June and July cases. and probably they will start august cases in a few weeks. However they do not go in a total order, so not all cases get approved or processed at the same time. It usually takes 1-2 months at least to finish a months cases. So you may receive your approval if there is no rfe in February or March.

I've just been reading about the two official non-expedited November filers and I'm trying not to get mad. What the heck is going on in USCIS? It's not like we don't have faith in their processes anyway, but this is quite disturbing. Naturally it's lovely for the people who've hit the jackpot but man, that's really unfair for everyone ahead of them experiencing extortionately long waits.
