Hi All

I"m sharing the scan that @JSCGPV just ran for everyone if you haven't already  seen it on the July forum.  Looks like another RFE filled day with hopefully lots and lots of silent approvals.  Only a week away from August now and I'm a mixture of excited and nervous!

So, sorry for derailing the convo, if they keep going at this rate does that mean people from December/January have a possibility of getting NOA2's in 5 months instead of ~7?

The problem is that 5 month does not really work as 5 months for everyone. The whole month easily takes 1-2 months so someone from the same day can get at day 155 and the next at 200 (we saw this... a lot)

another problem, we also though when May started at 150 was being late, and then we though June starting at 168 was being late then july started at day 190....

do i wish and think logically things will get faster? Yes. Is it realistic at the moment? No.

so the questions goes to if they don't do it in 5 months and people put money on things thinking they will? Which would be a catastrophe btw. So nope at this moment, it is not a 5 month wait for anyone, and unless we see at least it becoming a 6 month wait for some (nobody is less than 6 full months in July or in August they've already passed 180s), I don't think we can talk about 5 months.

For december wait for october to start and then decide how things will go.

Thanks! Also what’s a good way to prove an ongoing relationship for the interview? A trip isn’t an option due to finances and vacation time at work.

Chat and call logs would be your only bet then.

Affidavit of support from the sponsor that beneficiary needs to take to interview.

Does it required my current pay check stub along with affidavit of support?

3-6 months backwards so yes. The length depends on the embassy.

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster. Our filing date received was August 8th and noa1 August 10th. I'm excited things are finally getting closer!  I was wondering on the affidavit of support for the interview, what kind of requirements are there? A certain level of income? Is a certain amount of savings required? Sorry if this isn't the best place to be asking!

Income level over poverty guidelines. (Depends on the people so search for "uscis poverty guidelines" 100% for k1 125% for AOS (some embassies wants the 125%- and as you need to file for AOS soon I would check 125%)

and evidence for i-134 (affidavit of support) such as tax return transcripts, w2s, employment letter, bank statements.

unless your income is not sufficient, savings are not required.

Thank you Naes! I've been stressed out over not coming up with enough savings. I keep spending my money on trips to see my fiance. I have good income, but cost of living is pretty high here too. I'm working on finding a cheaper place to rent. I feel better i dont need to stress about it so much.

They will only look at your income as a whole by the way. (Before taxes)

Seriously, woke up in the middle of the night on this one but really a potential benefit for the folks who get interviews before April is that you can file your taxes now and use the latest income capture OR you can file taxes after the interview and use the prior years capture. It may not matter to most but if someone out there has a significant or unavoidable income decline and you're at the mercy of your tax returns... something to think about!! Ha ha... this really is a sign that we're all going crazy!! 🤣 P.S. This in no form constitutes tax advice and I take no responsibility for your personal actions! 👍
