Hello everyone.
My first post here, I am a filing cabinet of August 25.
It's so good to hear that everything is going a little faster now.
I would just like to share my happiness with you, for I am going to visit my love on February 6, and best of all, I will stay 40 days. And our birthdays are in February and we still have Valentine's Day.
Inspiring for this because it will recharge my energies after a wait of 10 months to be able to kiss it again, and to be able to await the rest of this process.

Soon we will all be together with our loves, living a life full of happiness, is what I desire each and everyone.

my love is coming to see me on February 6th also so a good day for us both. enjoy your time together :)

Since they ask for the fee upfront I expect a faster process. They need to change the system to 50.00 application fee that is sent to USCIS and then when they notify you its approved then they request you go online and pay the 129F fee then your petition is sent to the NVC

What I guess is a lot of the delays and hold ups is people that get RFE's for more evidence! a lot of is not providing PROOF you met in the last 2 years, how hard is it to read the instructions and send in evidence , like plane tickets, copies of your passport entry and exit stamp, photos, receipts.. this is what is causing the delay. The USCIS workers spending time reviewing a petition and come to the end looking for evidence that isn't submitted. seriously peeps....send in the evidence to help slow down these delays for the people that did do it correctly from the get go.

Completely agree to this. The agency thay i used for me and my fiance they had us scan my passport stamp, pictures and everything. I added a few extra things for proof.

I agree okn the 50 dollar charge.. it's annoying that I paid 550 JUST SO THEY CAN LOOK AT IT. When I first filed I was told from a friend who filed in 2016 that it only took them a few months (like a month and a half) smh

I hired a lawyer to my mine, less chances of a RFE. took him a week to do my paperwork and then I signed off on it. we included everything listed and a few extra. Not a books worth but enough he suggested and I we did. He told me before I hired him 129f approval times were 3-4 months and my fiancé should have the visa within 5-7 months. I'm nearly at the 6 months waiting for the NAO2. I knew if the no noa2 by December 15th then it wouldn't be until after the new year due to all the holiday vacations the people at uscis would be taking thus time away from looking at the files. Now that the holidays is over is probably why we are seeing a fast pace for the july people. July is moving quick. which is good because we are august.

We thought about hiring a lawyer, but were not sure how much the cost was. But we did a lot of research and my fiancé was extremely helpful with researching proper forms and documents that needed to be filled out. We had a great time reviewing and filling out all the documentation together.

Hello all! August 1st NOA1 here. I've been looking for months for a site like this. You all have helped to put my mind at ease. After calling USCIS and getting the automated system I was starting to lose hope of what my timeline was.... Even the Visa service site I use  did not have answers for me... Add the fact that USCIS has a delay, I was starting to panic!!  Seeing that I'm not alone in this slow moving boat makes me feel better. I work under DHS and even we have to wait haha. But really, thank you all for sharing your stories and thoughts. It has helped us relax. We are all almost there!!!
