Hello everyone! I was looking through previous months (mostly June & July) and noticed some people were getting RFE's for not submitting the G-325 along with the I129f. I didn't see that on the checklist when I sent my application; I also figured they didn't need it as that information was also filled out on the I-129f. Was just wondering if everyone else had sent this form as well? Thanks in advance!

You sent the new form. July doesn't have that rfe btw. Only May and june had it because it was the transition period. With the new forms (13 pages) you don't need that.

Oh and 325a itself expires on June so no worries about that overall.

This July 27th approval is a brightener  (even if an anomaly). Our lawyer called USCIS yesterday for any possible update on our case - and because he wanted to snoop on our behalf on just what the bloody hell they're playing at these days. He was at least told they're backlogged right now (you don't say) and of course was fobbed off providing a service request, as they are still 'within normal processing times'. Again, this phrasing winds me up. How can you admit you're backlogged, but also within normal processing times? It's the 'normal' that aggravates me the most. When we submitted our petition in August, four months was 'normal' (based on the month they were currently handling as per their website). Unless they explicitly state somewhere on their website that I-129fs take six months to process, then how can any applicant  know what's normal? It's a perfect system set up by USCIS to allow failure with no repercussions.

First of all thank your for the sniffing around ;)

and yes thats I believe what makes all of us frustrated. They should have just say this year's average wait time will be 210 days for example. But I don't think they even have that much of organizational skills to foresee...

waiting for noa2 is 6 months on average but before it was 3-4 months, now NVC is backed up and had a 2 week on average and now its 30-60 days and then 2 months to the interview after that which comes to 10 months to 12 months for k1.....this is unacceptable.

when I read 30-60 days for NVC that burst the air in my bubble, total let down.

so stressful!!

I was reading Taiwan reviews, someone mentioned a checklist of things to bring to the interview, such as " household registration certificate" wonder if that is referring to what is called a Hukou?? I know in china they use a hukou which I think is a type of household registration...but my fiancé is not from Taiwan , she only lives and works there for past 9 years. She wasn't born there. so is a hukou a household registration ?

I believe what you will need a birth certificate instead of that, and maybe a type of residency card or visa she has from Taiwan so she can show she is living there (in my case this is what they need I am also applying from another country than my own)

He is doing sniffing for us to find out any insider info he can, as these processes are frustrating him too. It should be incumbent on USCIS to officially post estimated timelines, especially given the fees involved. If I didn't know this forum existed, I would have no idea what kind of timeline to expect. It shouldn't take us 'laymen' to work out what's going on (or at least trying to) with such a serious and fundamental process as this!

Gosh, I really hope so. This extended and completely unnecessary delay to NVC  burst my bubble too. It's like finishing a marathon, only then having to go straight back to the beginning to start it again. I hope they speed this up, or someone can at least find out just why on earth they're sitting on approved files.

Since they ask for the fee upfront I expect a faster process. They need to change the system to 50.00 application fee that is sent to USCIS and then when they notify you its approved then they request you go online and pay the 129F fee then your petition is sent to the NVC

What I guess is a lot of the delays and hold ups is people that get RFE's for more evidence! a lot of is not providing PROOF you met in the last 2 years, how hard is it to read the instructions and send in evidence , like plane tickets, copies of your passport entry and exit stamp, photos, receipts.. this is what is causing the delay. The USCIS workers spending time reviewing a petition and come to the end looking for evidence that isn't submitted. seriously peeps....send in the evidence to help slow down these delays for the people that did do it correctly from the get go.

And what if denied or the petitioner withdraws or abandons the petition? That's (considerable) time and money spent that they would never recoup. And it's more processing steps and more things to go wrong.
