It's you again, you answered my last question as well! You're our angel! I checked your timeline but didn't find details on how you transferred from Saudi Arabia (correct?) to Manilla. I'm assuming you did what you recommended we do - wait until it reaches the "wrong" embassy (Tanzania) and request a transfer from the "right" embassy? (Consulate in Cape Town)

Thanks! Correct. We waited until Riyadh got the case and then sent an email to Manila (their preferred method of contact) requesting the transfer. It took then a while (week or so?) to acknowledge the request, then a few days to get approval from Riyadh to start the transfer. Then it took about a week for Manila to get the case.

Note that the case number did not change after the transfer. This is normal.

Did you keep the same mailing address for the beneficiary? We will need to change that as well.

We didn't update it on the I-129F, but we just used the Philippines mailing address on the DS-160.

After NOA2, you just sit and wait again.  It used to take 2 weeks for USCIS to send our petitions to NVC, now it can take up to 60 days.  I would start calling after not hearing anything for 4 weeks.  Following the May and June forums will give a guide as to what they are going thru.  There are also forums here just on NVC wait times.  Then, NVC sends it to your consulate.  That could take two weeks.  So, when you get NOA2, you have time to get your final stuff together print out the list of what you need for the Affidavit of Support and that other paperwork and the Embassy stuff.  You could do that now and just start collecting stuff except for the financial stuff that you need closer to the time.  As far as interview,  I think May is likelier than June, but I am trending toward the optimistic.  Either way, I’m not making wedding 🎩 plans that need a deposit!  I think 🤔 it’s going to be good, Jesus...

Hi Just wanted ti ask because we submitted our documents all originals. I am afraid we weren't able to have a copy of it even scan copy. Photos can be reprint but the application forms we dont have and the rest of the docs like boarding passes. Anyonce could share their thoughts pls thanks

Ouch yes they won't give you any of those documents back. That's why it says to send copies and no originals. You didn't make a copy of all the documents you sent?

For early August filers, most likely.. They've started touching July cases, but I'd expect the most August movement in March. But maybe I'm just pessimistic
