August will probably (if things go well) be late-mid january start.

But that's only a start.. NVC is also slow at the moment.  we think things will get a bit better, but I wouldn't advice giving your notice this early. At least wait till you see July starting, You'll have at least 2 month after that.

So really the answer to where that notification came from would be a huge and meaningful for us :)

Im sorry for the late reply, but I looked back at the notification, and I was wrong. It was all just an rfe being recieved. So technically I was wrong in it. Sorry for the misunderstanding of my moment of happiness. Haha 😂

Hi guys one again.

After uncountable hours trying to figure out how to do this, and some more actually doing it, I think I finally found a way to see, day by day, how the processing time from Received to Approved evolves over the time. It's been 3 long days, but I'm on vacation this week and finally got the time to finish it.

Below is a graph with the average processing time of all cases received every considered day and approved within the next 173 days from each of those days.

Example: For all cases received the 3rd of April I calculated the average processing time of all of those cases approved within the next 173 days from that day; from 04/03/17 to 09/23/17. The same goes for all cases received the 4th of April, but only considering approvals up to 09/24/17, and so on.

The explanation for it being 173 days is that that is the amount of days from the last day considered 05/31/17 up to the last scan available 11/20/17.

It was important to do it this way because this time I'm comparing all days individually, hence they had to be considered under the same circumstances. As in my previous graphs, only updated cases could be used for these results.

The interpretation is pretty easy and I think it gives a very good idea of (at last!) what the tendency is being (which was the whole purpose of going into so much trouble ). I will only say that April has some pretty inconsistent days for which I don't have a clear answer (maybe they assigned each of those days' cases to faster or slower adjudicators?? I simply don't know). Also the original April file had to be manually modified (thanks again to Naes!), although I'm not sure that had anything to do with it.

As for May, it is much consistent and appears to show some stabilization after that nightmarish growth, which hopefully means what we all want to see, the first beams of light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks for the information.... all of us are in the same boat and the boat is very slow. At the beginning I thought I could have NOA2 by Christmas time but it looks like not until mid of February next year :(...

I know that all of you and myself are missing our fiancees.

In the meantime of the waiting time.. I would like to think ahead to be prepared... so I have the below questions:

1- What documents We need to sent to the fiancee for the interview?

2- Can we go to the interview with our fiancee?

Thanks,

It's depressing, isn't it? We would've only had a month to wait from this point... :(

Are you or your sponsor already preparing their I-134? That's something to be getting on with whilst we start this last phase of waiting.

I've heard of others that are allowed to bring their fiancee with them to the interview, but this may depend on which embassy you need to attend.

Im seriously hoping between now and the next 40 days we can hear something 😑 my patience is growing thin haha

Also; what do you all do to waste time while waiting to hear?

June filers are still waiting for their NOA2. I’m expecting mine to arrive mid to end of February. As of right now, we are preparing for the interview. We’re gathering all the paper works i.e. I-134, photos, police clearance, etc..

Hoping no rfe☹️☹️☹️

It's roughly a month form NOA2 to NVC to embassy receipt of the case. Sometimes a week or so shorter, and sometimes a couple weeks longer.

No paperwork is needed at NVC for an I-129F / K-1 case. However, you can call NVC to get a case number and start on the next steps at some embassies (i.e. Manila lets you do the medical, DS-160, and schedule the interview yourself with just the number). It usually takes a week or 2 or so from NOA2 to NVC receipt of the case.

Thank you for the reply!  I also have another question, if i am using a co-sponsor as currently i am a student . I need to fill out the i-134 and which form would my co-sponsor need to fill out?  Also I am looking at the i-134 they ask if employed or self employed but i don't know what i would put /= .   I have some savings when i was not a medical student and worked but at the moment i am unemployed. I am planning in using my parents as a co-sponsor . Anyone can help me please? would they need to fill out an i-134 as well or different form?

The co sponsor would also fill out an I-134 and provide supporting evidence of income/assets being used to sponsor the visa applicant.

You can either mark it as "N/A" or "Unemployed". Edit: Or "Student" is fine too. :) They understand.

You and your co-sponsor should each fill a I134, and you can use only 1 co-sponsor so chose from one of your parents.

about students filling the form, you're unemployed so that's how you're going to fill it, you can add your bank statements too with it, even if it does not suffice the guidelines.
