Aug 17 NOA 1. RFE was sent Feb 23 and I received it today.

I'm missing 2 things -  'Beneficiary's Intent to Marry' and 'Requirement Petitioner and Beneficiary have Met in Person'

A lawyer prepared our package so I'm not sure how he missed the letter of intent. But we did include passports which indicate that I live (and have been living) in my fiancee's country. We've lived together for 1 year.

What kind of proof do I need? Pictures? Do they need to be dated? Passport copies? Do I need to write a letter detailing how we met?

Also what about the intent to marry? I am currently in America, so will my fiancee need to prepare and sign the letter and then send it to me?

Pictures are important, as well as dates, as it's stated the meeting has to be within the last 2 years. Proof that you have been living together would be very good as well, copies of bills perhaps, with both names coming to the same address. And yes, a paragraph stating how and when you guys met is very important as well.

For the letter, your fiance can write a letter and send that to you. I'm not sure if it has to be the original, perhaps someone else could answer that for me.

I would strongly suggest bringing up these issues with your lawyer as well, as these items are plainly requested in the I-129F form and it's instructions and they have missed doing something very important to the process.

need an advice everyone who called uscis.

we call them Tuesday and talked to tier2 saying we need to wait for 14days since the ticket just made coz they don't know why they haven't touched our case yet.

should we call them again tomorrow or anytime soon? isn't it appropriate and too risky to keep calling them?

THANKS :)

thank you (I was on the road too bumpy to check all questions :))

Just additions:

@RevGreen lawyers are really unreliable in k1. The letter should be the classic letter of intent (similar to what petitioner wrote) and your fiancé will sign it and can send you a scanned copy, you can print out the copy and we know it worked for people (but a color print is important)

All the suggestion above are perfect. Some other suggestions can be: Did you guys had a lease? Or receipt or credit card usage that puts you in the same place? Or anyone from that country that can write a letter stating they know you etc. is also good.

That officer who hung up on you is disgusting! Please don't lose hope and call again tomorrow, dear sis! I will be here praying for you. I will celebrate with you all through your journey. I will still be here for all of you, guys!

I can put the raw data in the drive?

Or this would be the best I can give (because I am letting the graph calculate it):

Received    RFE & Updated        Approved      Total

01 66 32 53 151
02 32 26 36 94
03 82 32 39 153
04 64 33 43 140
07 142 63 94 299
08 73 36 50 159
09 44 32 16 92
10 45 42 56 143
11 55 32 31 118
14 152 84 54 290
15 99 54 38 191
16 43 17 14 74
17 67 36 47 150
18 72 28 22 122
21 258 28 43 329
22 104 27 36 167
23 76 10 10 96
24 112 19 14 145
25 107 12 18 137
28 207 37 24 268
29 98 22 20 140
30 44 6 18 68
31 105 14 3 122
Total 2147 722 779 3648

But I can add since we actually tried to analyze their movement when it was June that, you won't really catch much of a pattern, especially because most of the updates are not online but as silent noa2s. Even from the dates that shows updates we see them. The funny thing though @The Squirrel was the one who was doing it and he ended up with a silent noa as well :D

@naes I need your help

I was running through to make sure no one else had replied better than I could, haha. Thanks for filling in the gaps! I know I sent my original letter of intent, but we had time so it wasn't as bad. RFE situations I would want to do as fast as possible, if it were mine.

I know the feeling!

I know me myself would get anxious too... that's why I sometimes end up giving answers that are already given so I won't forget it when I'm checking though.

I actually just woke up an hour ago so I needed the "wake up" part first... otherwise I sound too harsh :D

First one is you get your records, such as court records etc and disclose it all. (I am not an expert on these cases) but you can ask it to the police directly in where I live. Was all the arrests in the same place? If so just try to contact and find records. I would suggest opening a main topic with your question if you're not sure so people with experience can see this.

for the second part they ask you to explain the circumstances of meeting, so you can first explain it in writing, and then add additional evidence such as boarding passes and pictures and passport stamps. I don't know the details of your case specifically. What did you send them as evidence before?
