Does anyone know or explain the process after NOA2? I know we get a case number here soon and then sign in at NVC site to see progress. Then it goes to consulate/embassy. We have to plan and it would be helpful if anyone has clear and concise details?

Thank you!

Call during business hours, dial 1-1-2-2, ask to speak to tier 2. (Don't even answer their first question because it will send you down a rabbit hole.) They asked directed me to a line to give my phone number, and I got a call back 30 minutes later.

Call in the morning! It was 25 minutes when I first called.

I know lol i called Tuesday morning at 8am and had a 20 minute wait but I decided to call in the afternoon today :jest:fortunately I have the time off today to wait! I'm so excited/nervous.

CONGRATS!!!!! :)

Did Tier 2 say many got done yesterday? I called Tuesday and wasn't able to get any info from Tier 2 and i'm debating calling back today and trying again (August 25 NOA1)

No, but judging from all the people calling and finding out they were approved this morning I decided to call on a chance and sure enough. They ran a bunch for end of month. Just call, get tier 2 and you will get your answer!

Aug 17 NOA 1. RFE was sent Feb 23 and I received it today.

I'm missing 2 things -  'Beneficiary's Intent to Marry' and 'Requirement Petitioner and Beneficiary have Met in Person'

A lawyer prepared our package so I'm not sure how he missed the letter of intent. But we did include passports which indicate that I live (and have been living) in my fiancee's country. We've lived together for 1 year.

What kind of proof do I need? Pictures? Do they need to be dated? Passport copies? Do I need to write a letter detailing how we met?

Also what about the intent to marry? I am currently in America, so will my fiancee need to prepare and sign the letter and then send it to me?

The tier 2 officer was so sweet she just went through their normal script and then before I could even say anything she said we were approved on Tuesday and our NOA2 should be in the mail any day. She said congratulations too ☺️ You’re moment is coming sis I can feel it!!!!
