I can totally do it!

but I also don't want to rely on those numbers too much.... Like when John was waiting he was always counting those virgins. But there is actually sooo many without update.. so those number are not 100%.

Think the worst and you will never be dissapointed. Look there may be latency in the data, but they likely batch poll the updates to cases. So when we see major jumps it will reflect things more accurately on those dates. They have to know where they are in relation to the month. Someone tracks it. I cannot imagine they track things twice. (this is the government however so it is certainly possible) haha

The most frustrating part of this process is that folks are receiving updates via post before online, text message, or email. I live abroad with my fiance so I'm relying on my parents to check my mail. I actually just changed my address on the USCIS website so I hope that doesn't somehow delay my receiving an update.

While I'm waiting I am going to write to my congresswomen (again) but this time to voice concern over this specific part of the process. There is no reason why the website and phone representatives should not have the most up-to-date information. We are not living in the 90s.

Hi everyone! We got our RFE in the mail today. All pretty straight forward stuff, including verification of things we already sent. But, i do have a couple questions that i'm hoping someone can help answer. I called uscis and because i'm not the petitioner, they wont tell me anything

They are asking for verification that i was never married to my daughters father. Should a simple written letter from myself be ok for this, or should i have it witnessed or something?

Also, they wanted copies of my passport again (apparently i forgot to submit the ID page originally), but i'm a little concerned that the first time i visited, they didnt stamp my passport. All other visits were stamped. Will this present an issue?

Thanks!
