As @Naes has said many times, if this was the case, they would still be working on January.  It's not feasible to restrict them to go in exact order as some cases are far more complex than others.

I understand what you are saying but just being honest. We should never being working on August files until all July and previous months have at least been processed. Now I understand with RFEs that will take a little longer but just saying it doesn't make sense to work them all over the place when some people have never got any response for the first time with even way earlier dates.

Also guys what does this mean?? I’m sorry, it’s just so confusing for me. Like my fiancé has to say how he is going to support me?

Thank you so much

ps: I wrote this in the wrong thread 😳 so embarrassing 😬

Check 'I intend' and then in Part 7, put "N/A FIANCE VISA FOR PERMANENT RESIDENT"

Just called uscis and talked to tier1 then was transferred to tier2: they don't know why our case wasn't touched. we've been patient and wait but i guess, we've waited long enough, so we called and the only resolution:  FILED A SERVICE REQUEST and to wait for another 14 days.

We got our NOA1 = August 1 btw.

So frustrating :( can somebody tell me what's wrong?

Am sorry it's taking so long but we really can't tell you what's wrong.
Sometimes, nothing is wrong.
There's girl from May who JUST got her NOA2 last week, with No RFEs or anything. And she put in so many requests and was always told "within processing times" or "case is pending." Sometimes whoever is adjudicating your case might be taking their sweet time ^_^

But we're here for you. I know it's tough and it's perfectly okay to be frustrated to the max but
Hang in there! It will come

If that were to be the way they do things, the wait for K1 visas would be in years because if just 1 minimal case has an issue then the whole department can't move forward until that one case is resolved. It just doesn't make sense.

Just out of curiosity.

Anyone who has any idea on how they do background checks? Like criminal background checks? Coz in the Philippines (if i am not mistaken) they based it on the person’s name. If US does the same thing, then it might take time for USCIS to fully clear ours because my fiancé ‘s full name is so common. 😂😂

Yes "name check" by FBI and other agents are done (not uscis by the way- uscis also does different name checks on different databases)

so yes common names are sometimes harder to get out. Did he ever got a US visa? Common names people tend to get a clearance at their first visa (they usually have a writing in meaning "not the same person" to keep them away from getting a hit everytime.

Not at all what I am saying. It is only normal for cases to have issues. What I am simply saying is there must be a process in play to handle such actions with a better outcome. You can not work all over the board and expect to get so much accomplished in a timely manner. There is no legitimate reason why someone with a May NOA1 date should still be waiting with August approvals coming through. If an adequate process was in play everything would continue to move forward up until the point of an issue. I am not referring to cases with a problem, I am referring to cases that has even got a decision from May. It is only realistically to look at the older cases that needs a decision and then move forward appropriately. I have an August date as well but I can sill see what is not right! Now come on!

How do you know there's no order?

What do you know about what type of problems those cases are facing?

GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
The bickering is getting out of control.

I want to go back to what I said yesterday-
Let's be kind to one another.
For those of you just joining VJ community, @Naes and I have been here since way back in the April/May forums when things took a turn for the worse at USCIS. So she's speaking from experience. Take what she says with a grain of salt, because that is her opinion and she has that right.

On this issue of "what is right and what is the proper order" at USCIS, this literally happens every damn month.
And it's happening now because September started and those of you still waiting are getting upset (and you have the right to be).
But know that many here are waiting with you and we are here for you till you get YOUR golden ticket.

USCIS did not start today and they're not going to change just because August filers are getting bitter. There is no order. And we cannot expect things to move in an "orderly" fashion as we do not know what happens there, nor do we know the circumstances of each case.
For those of my Augustines with a later date, I am an August 9th, and was barely approved a few days ago. Be patient, and I know that's easier said than done, and it's tough but we're all so close!

Let's continue to support one another, even those AFTER us.

Aww you're sweet ❤️

Did you feel me being about to burst

I don't know the order nor the problems but what I do know is a fact is a fact and need I say no more. Sorry that you got so defensive over me clearly stating that there has to be a better way. My intentions was never to offend anyone just clearly stating how I felt. But debating back and forth is solving nothing. It is what it is!
