I was one of those that really needed the expedite, but never got it. I have medical problems and financial loss. So all I can say is I hope this is a miracle.

My comments were about cases in general - obviously if a an individual case qualifies for an expedite, then that individual should apply for it still. The idea is that if everybody requests one, it doesn't mean the process will go faster.

It makes me so sad for all of us ( whatever month we filed in all) because we  are clinging to any hope we can find to make the process go faster. The truth is it will take as longs as it takes unfortunately and so I am sending hugs and endless patience to all xxx

Of course I understood you. I guess I'm just seeing this as an opportunity bc I'm truly struggling and nothing else worked for me. :(

Does anyone know if putting in requests are seen negatively , if you put 2 in?

It won't hurt your case, if that's what you're asking.

Something seems incredibly wrong with inundating the US Gov't (contractors or no) with phone calls. Maybe because my job involves liaising with DHS officers...I dont know about this approach.

Does anyone know if an inquiry ticket will now be disregarded since the website is back to May 1st? I called and put one in when it was September, but it’s fixed now. Thanks.

I would think they still owe you a quick call to explain, but that's only conjecture.

Should we call back and ask to remove the request , if we made one? i don't want them to see as a negative impact.

At this point, I would leave it alone. Let them action it. Tell us what they say.

Yes, i just fear of them as looking at it as being pushy. Maybe i am overthinking due to all the excessive stress of waiting, plus it doesnt help to know my fiancee is in a country where everyday things unfortunately get worse and worse.

I don't think you should worry, the request was made when their website showed an incorrect information so they will have to at least explain that, there's a bunch of people who sent inquiries.
