I'm imagining approvals... approvals in mail

(because they just touched 23 and later days this week.. it is highly likely to see some approvals in the mail ;))

I have USPS Informed delivery but nothing yet, I'm still eagerly checking my mailbox anyways!

Hello guys! We are august 21st filers and noa2 is february 22. I just want to ask if you have any idea how long will it take for me to have a visa? I want to know because i’m currently working and i need to serve one month if i will resign. I am from philippines by the way. I’m a long time silent reader here and im grateful for this forum, it helped me a lot to stay positive while waiting for noa2. Any response will be highly appreciated! Thank you! God bless us all!

So lucky! Congratulations! We’re also August 21, but haven’t received our NOA2 yet. Just lurking  here hopefully I get to post good news like yours too 😊

Thanks and its so wonderful to share this exp with others here and the support and know there are others still waiting for their noa2 that have filed before me and I got mine before them makes me sad and happy at the same time, sad for those still waiting and happy because our wait for noa2 is over. I'm sure its been said before  don't waste time checking the apps , emails, or text or the status page online, The apps and online still show case received and I never got a text or email even though I signed up on the uscis site for that.

I do want to add this, I called USCIS Thursday (two days ago) he told me clearly 2 times my case was still "received" status, however the post mark clearly shows mail on feb 20th, so either they don't update or he was lying and wanted me to be surprised.

so what would be the real noa2 date to put in my timeline? post marked the 20th but received letter today the 24th

Just wanted to give more info on my experience with calling USCIS to learn our case was accepted.

NOA1 was 8/18. I called on Thursday (2/22) and requested to speak with a Tier II officer. While speaking with the Tier II officer I was told we were accepted! Today I got the NOA2 in the mail (2/24) and the acceptance is actually dated to 2/20 instead of the day they told me we were accepted, so if they say you're accepted, you might have been accepted for a bit already.

Haha, yes I can imagine that, the paperwork never ends. It's like a video game where you have to solve certain problems to get to the next level, and then the next.

I haven't touched those forms yet, but I read that bringing your full medical record if you can retrieve one during your medical + extra original birth certificates are useful during AOS. Hopefully the Norwegian will be able to stand the hole of nothingness for four or so months, I'm not sure how he is, but I know I will not like it. I might study for GMAT, or enroll in some online course from a Swedish university, not sure yet.

He is thinking of taking some Norwegian courses also while waiting it out in NYC! I don't think he'll like it much either... especially the fact that I'll be supporting us for a while. At least the weather will be nice so you can go for walks? Walking around NYC is one of the best reasons to live here I think! :) Do you think you'll start applying to jobs to possibly expedite EAD or wait it out?
