So after 200 days, I had to call USCIS today and was able to talk to a Tier two person. They really don't want to transfer you but they did.

He confirmed that we had been approved two days ago!! He said I should get a notification in the mail in a week.

I'm over the moon happy! And yes, I will be updating our timeline.)))

CONGRATS!! Was there any update online or on the app?

Update your timeline on VJ :)

It also sucks that you have to wait till you a hard copy of a letter for RFE when they can just explain it online and makes life easier. Tssss. More delays. And they even use the slowest snail mail. I live in Vegas And got the noti for RFE last 2/21 so im guessing i will probably get the letter tomorrow or Monday even. Waste of days. But oh well. As long as they “touched” my case then whatever. <_<

Hey Everyone;

I never saw a month that has this many weird stuff happening at once... Whatever...

I do not have magic up my butt (I would be gone by now if I did)

I do not have special insider info (I would be gone by now if I did)

And yes everyday is a drama here in this month's forum...I lost the will to do anything really.

Whatever,

Don't let them get you upset. My advice is to remember the respect you were treated with in the June thread and just forget about August. I can share a script with you so you will not even see the August thread anymore. PM sent!

Does anyone else get a little twing of frustration whenever they see the word "received" during their daily life or is it just me lol? I've been eagerly checking my case status online and learning to hate that word lol. Oh well, sending good vibes to everyone for speedy approvals <3

Yeah I never thought I would hate seeing something being "received" in my life.

Hello fellow Augustines. Still seems a bit surreal we were approved yesterday. I have looked at the email and online many times.

A few questions if anyone has experience

I went to visit in November. I took all of the documents my Fiancé would need for the interview, but now I am thinking that was too long ago and I should update my I-134. What do you guys think? Should I send in my 2017 taxes? I had the letter from my employer and all the previous bank statements. Or do you think they have enough to go on from what he already has?
Also do you think I should write another intent to marry? some people have said they want an updated one.

Also does anyone know the best way to pay for the DS-160? It has to be in US$.

Thank you all for your advice in advance!

If you think the interview will happen after April 15 (I think this was the last date to file taxes.) then file your taxes.

The most recent taxes are the most important one.

Write an intent to marry, cause what would you lose? but if you don't and they ask... then you may actually lose something.

Payment for DS-160 depends on the embassy.

As long as we all get to be with our loved ones after this journey! hahahahaha  a wonderful waiting point.

As I write this in my freezing room... while waiting a heater to warm Japan's rooms with paper walls...

I may ask you to get me from the airport sometime soon... don't be surprised...

I just called and they told me that my case is within normal processing time. I asked to be transferred to tier 2 like everyone says but the rep said they would tell me the same thing and to call next week if I have no update then.

Just call again tomorrow.

Tier 1 is a lottery game.

It's the end date because your wait was longer than the current averages.. stop checking the timeline.

And wait for another 10-15 days (because I am assuming you're probably around 200) then start calling.

Or call so it can be practice to you, but if you catch a bad tier 1; just ignore..

Thank you!!!

I'm so happy with the trend.

(In written form cause I can't put any reactions again )

Yeah, it's starting to look good! I'm hoping it gets at least as "good" as June was by next month. We'll see! :)
