One requirement upon interview is the updated intent to marry, so we have to change dates that we have send before? Together with 129-f?

An idea for those preparing this letter but do not know when their interview is: Print several copies of the intent letter, sign and date it with the first of every month in which  you believe interview will be held and send that off to the beneficiary. This way, no matter the interview month, there is a letter ready.

As it was said before it should be transferred to the country where you are resident. ( i have the same thing I am French/Lebanese who live in Rome, plus when we filed the petition we wrote Rome for the place of interview instead of Naples, I hope that we don't get RFE

make sure to translate all the documents either to Italian or English and it should be signed and confirmed by an authentic translator.

you can see the document i have attached.

Yes! Although if you've been living in Italy since 2007 and have gone to the doctor (I imagine) he probably has your vaccination records--right? We're planning on him going to the doctor a bit later to get all the vaccinations needed, that we he won't have to pay. I know there are three documents and we plan to get them in August (we're January filers) while we're in Tirana. One of them has to be sent directly to the Naples consulate which is a bit worrying to me. My fiance says birth certificate is pretty simple--I've heard from people that your birth certificate doesn't need to be dated after a certain date but I'm not sure. Mi fiance says it can't be older than a year? Also we need to get translations done for the Albanian documents (preferably in English since we will need this for AOS as well) and police certificates from Italy. We both have to do the same things so keep in touch please!

Actually I do have a doctor here but I never done a vaccine here.all the vaccinations that I have are from Albania because you get it done mostly when you are a kid

this is all I know about this.

the police certificate I had to get one in Albania and one in here, mostly it will take one month even less.

the birth certificate it’s very easy, you can get in one day and do the translation at the some day,not a big deal.

usually all documents last 6 months to a year.

You don’t have to do it now. You can give an email address so we can keep in touch.

Aw you should stick around here! We can pm through VJ and i'll send you my email. Also, from what I've read there are three distinct "police" certificates you need to get from Albania and two different ones from Italy. One of the ones from Albania must be sent directly to the Naples Consulate, they won't accept it otherwise. Hopefully you already knew this and I'm just reiterating but just in case you weren't aware...

In the Philippines TB is a biggie.  Not necessarily denied but delayed during treatment.  I believe it is a 6 month treatment if they see spots on the lungs.

6 months up to 1 year or more that depends on TB strain.  Also, at the beginning and end of treatment there is sputum test that takes additional 6 to 8 weeks.  So if the treatment is going to be one year then you are talking about 16 months total to get over this hump.  If your country is allowed to do TB blood test then it takes only 3-4 days to get solid results.

07/27/17 - K1 packet sent at the end of day.

07/31/17 - NOA1

03/22/18 - NOA2

08/28/18 - expected date for medical completion - Sputum test was needed

09/22/18 - anticipated interview date

Yes, I know. I'm waiting closer to my NOA2 date to do them and my fiancè will go in person. I heard you can get them the same day if you are present and are insistent.

As far as I know just like the W2s and ITR, the bank statement of the petitioner is one of the requirements stated in the packet 3 that your beneficiary must bring on the day of his interview but they won't necessarily will use it as a basis that you can support your beneficiary when he's already in the U.S. They would still rely on your projected annual income and employment certificate and pay stubs. I have read a filer got approved with only $400 in his bank statement. The most important thing they'll look at is if your current pay could support him and not to become a public charge during his 90 days K1 period. But you must remember to complete the documents needed for his interview to avoid getting a 221g. Some consul won't even look at the bank statement but better be prepared and ready.

Here's what I found in a post from someone who interviewed in Egypt,  "

6. An Affidavit of Support (Form I134)

signed by the Petitioner.

7. Petitioner’s most recent year of federal income taxes (form 1040 only). Please also bring the

most recent W2 form and a job letter indicating current salary and length of employment

What I will do is bring these plus have all that other stuff with us just in case they ask for it.  I bought one of those big double sided file organizer things to keep everything together and easy to show them whatever they ask us for.  I'm figuring that I can combine a visit with the interview and it will pay for the airfare because I will bring my allowed two suitcases with nothing in them but a couple of outfits and the gifts I bought for his family.  That way I can carry a lot of his things back in my suitcases and he can save on paying for extra baggage.  I want him to be able to have as many of his things from home with him as possible to make our apartment feel like a home.  The first thing we will do is move from my tiny apartment into a two bedroom.  I'm trying to get all of these documents together for the embassy now. I think he will postpone coming here for a month because it will be Ramadan.  No one wants to be a newlywed in Ramadan when you can't eat or drink during daylight hours.  And, I do not have an air-conditioned apartment.  I want to get married almost immediately so he will be covered on medical insurance and we can filed for AOS (and WORK PERMIT).  This means a big feast, CAKE, visiting with my family and having a lot of fun.  You really can't do that in Ramadan.  So, we will see how that plays out with the timeline.  Maybe I am taking everything for granted.  I hope all of us are accepted, God willing!  It's funny, you go from the stress of waiting to the beneficiary really feeling like reality hitting and then having all the doubts and fears and realizing the responsibility they will have.  Especially if they are men and do not want to take support from a woman.  I hope all of us can enjoy a normal relationship soon.  Maybe that takes a year after the beneficiary arrives?  It seems to always be something, but you hang on because you know that this is the person you really want to be with no matter what.

That's okay! You'll figure it out in no time! Are you an August filer? I'm keeping tabs on everyone going through Italy because there aren't many of us and I'm still very unclear about the details of the process between NVC-->Embassy-->Interview. Every embassy is different and in the embassy reviews not many have written about the process of scheduling the interview. Since mine is hopefully going to take place in late august/September I'm trying to keep informed so there are no unnecessary delays...specially taking into account Ferragosto and all the holidays during these dates.
