Unless you're sponsoring yourself you don't need it.

Nope. No need for yours. The idea is your petitioner should provide evidences that he can support you when you're already in the U.S and not to become a public charge. You should bring these evidences on the day of your embassy interview.

Tier 1 is like an opener salesman. They have script, know nothing (we actually have more info)

tier 2 level 2 so they have a little more info, they may also talk meaningless stuff.

calling at this moment won't give you anything unless the website gives a date after yours. And even after that it usually is not fruitful but at least you can put an inquiry.

they don't care what you say and there is nothing you can say to be taken more seriously or less, it usually is luck on what kind of a tier 2 you will get... some are plain rude

Thanks @Naes!! So when I call them I can just say something like "Id like to talk to a tier 2 officer", given that they also understand and use the term? And tier 2 officer is different from actual adjudicator, correct? Sorry for asking many questions, I am a bit confused..

Yes but as you're still inside normal processing times they may refuse. So you may need some push :)

@Naes Thanks a lot! Now we kinda have an idea of what to say in our call 😌I think we will wait to call till the website date gives me a date after our NOA1 though, as we are still in the normal processing time like you said...Crossing my fingers there will be a lot of movements this week!

Also I wanna take this moment to give a shoutout to @Naes, thanks for being an awesome person! You keep us sane during this USCIS wait madness 👏
