So I think you are asking two things here:
1) Case going from USCIS to NVC really depends. The wait seems to have come down in the recent times to about 8-15 days on average. But there are some people still waiting at like 45 days.
2) From the time NVC assigns you a case, which is when it says on the case tracker "At NVC" to the time that goes to the respective embassy "Ready" depends- because it's all embassy specific at that point.

Hope that answers ur question!

@emekus94, I am the beneficiary a fellow naija ,plz how long does it take from NVC to Lagos consulate and to schedule the interview?

Favvy! Nice to see a fellow Naija here-

I have been following a few Nigerian timelines and it's all over the place. Some go NVC to Lagos to interview in like 4-5 weeks. Others 2+ months
I think once you get approval from NOAs, it's as fast as you make it. Getting organized, getting your beneficiary the proper documents in time, etc

One thing that I found with Naija is this: U have to wait at least 2 weeks after medical to do an interview. So depending on when you can schedule medical, that might affect things and with Lagos being the only embassy for K1 visas, it can be backlogged sometimes.
But you are a September filer. I'll keep you posted on how my things go whenever I get to that stage (still waiting for my NOA2 :D)

179 days , six months since I've last seen my fiancé. This is a very draining process , despite the approvals I've seen I'm feeling completely helpless and it's disappointing to be waiting this long , there is a strong possibility that I will be missing my fiance's bday once again. We can't even plan a proper vacation in fear of him losing money on a trip when the approval may be around the corner .

USCIS , congratulations! There should be no need for any RFE mainly because if there haven't been any withdrawals for those cases in question obviously means these couple are trying to keep their together for 6 months plus period while y'all keep delaying.

Christmas is over !!!!!!!!! Easter is right around the corner we almost in March for goodness sake .

Expediting stating financial loses because of all the trips and deposits on wedding arrangements is a waste of time now !

I cannot believe there are sooooo many RFE's and sooooo many cases still hasn't been attended to since May 2017 .

What is going on? Really? No sense of professionalism , when you call it's the same bogus ####### being repeated , not even an email, or letter stating we have been delayed due to xyz reasons .

Applicants have to survive on forums such as this to go by he said she said .

Bogus just bogus .....

200 days plus applicants I feel for you . Despite how much people on here say they seen improvement I don't.

A beautiful thing in my life has been spent on 6 mths of wondering what the EFF is gonna be my next move if they deny us or if they will ever try to assist us when we call them.

Urgh ...

Hi everyone, long time lurker here! Our NOA1 is August 4th, and since we started seeing August approvals, I've been constantly checking the status and the forum to see if there is any update. I am thinking of calling USCIS once the official processing time passes our NOA 1 date, but I am not sure what we can say in our call to make them take us more seriously (if they ever do at all lol). I saw some posts talking about requesting tier 2 adjudicator instead of tier 1, but I am not sure what that means. Could anyone explain or advise? Thanks 😁

Hello Everyone,

We got our NAO1 August 3, 2017 and just received our NAO2 February 13, 2018 (arrived in the mail, case tracker is still showing as received and not approved). Now that we're getting closer to everything actually happening I've been looking into the medical portion and I'm starting to freak out because I do not have any vaccines. I received the first 3 set of shots that you would get as a baby, the first 2 making me very ill and the 3 sending my into anaphylactic shock. After this the doctors advised that I not get anymore vaccinations. So is this going to cause me huge issues now? Will a doctors note explaining this suffice or will I be forced to get all the required vaccines now at the age or 31? Is anyone else in a similar predicament? Any advice would be helpful thanks :)

If you have an allergic reaction and explanation of it officially, take it with you to the medical exam and they will most likely know what to do.

You can also call in advance and ask what kind of proof you can take with you to the exam to show this problem of yours.

Tier 1 is like an opener salesman. They have script, know nothing (we actually have more info)

tier 2 level 2 so they have a little more info, they may also talk meaningless stuff.

calling at this moment won't give you anything unless the website gives a date after yours. And even after that it usually is not fruitful but at least you can put an inquiry.

they don't care what you say and there is nothing you can say to be taken more seriously or less, it usually is luck on what kind of a tier 2 you will get... some are plain rude

Can i ask something? I was kinda confused upon reading the instructions after Noa2. First, I will wait for the case number from NVC, right? Then I can check it thru CEAC. Once the status is READY I can proceed and prepare myself for medical. Am i the one who will ask or schedule the interview at the embassy where I am living? After medical? Thanks in advance😘😍

Scheduling depends on the embassy.

you should find specific information for that.
