Bit late but what I can tell from experience, you two need to find a way to spend time together for like even if it's just a week

If that doesn't work then drop him, too bad it didn't work out.

A relationship that successfully went through the k-1 process is strong enough to last, but untill that's done there's really a lot of uncertainty.

 

by the way, how is his family and friends feeling about this? i know that in my situation, my girlfriend's best friend and close family except her mom are against the k-1 process. This almost effected our relationship.

I sent in some extra items, nothing was missing but I just made an Addendum to my file. I added in an excel timeline of our relationship and referenced photos for certain milestones in our relationship. I had already included photos and everything needed, just wanted to add more. I made a cover letter explaining my intent. I sent that in a month after the NOA1. 

 

I never got the addendum returned to me, so I guess they took it in and added it to my file. 

 

I read about other cases where people sent more in as well without issue. I knew it was taking a chance but I did not see any negative that had a real chance of coming to fruition.

Hello everybody !

 

I'm not very active on here but read all of you, as I'm an august filler too  186 days already .. & it looks my fiancé just realized that he forgot to write my consulate/embassy for the interview on the I-129F (thanks baby .. 6 months later 😅 Better later than never but still ughhh). Do you think we'll get a RFE for that or maybe they will email us or something that an information is missing on the form ? I can't believe he did forget 😅 Also, I'm a French citizen living in London, I don't know then where my interview will take place 🤔 Thanks for your help !! If not he will call them tomorrow as today of course we can't reach anyone .. rrrr I already can't wait to see @Naes scans 😅 I literally wake up everyday in the middle of night to check the scans - me ? Impatient ? Not at all 😁 Have a great day everyone ! & congrats for all the approvals !

You should have the interview in the country where you live. So if you filled out your current address on the form to be London you most probably will go to the embassy there. Like Naes will go to the embassy in Japan and not Turkey where she is originally from.

I'm not sure if you will get an RFE for forgetting to list the embassy.

It will depend on the adjudicator.

 

ive heard some never getting rfe for that and NVC just decided depending on the place of residence. But I also did saw rfe about it because it is omitting information. So it is hard to say.

I forgot to check the mail yesterday and couldn't believe what I found this morning.. an approval in hand; despite the website and app still both showing no update since the NOA1.

 

NOA1 - August 2nd.

NOA2 - February 13th (received in the mail today, 2/19/2018).

 

Stay strong everyone; even if it feels like stalemate just waiting..
