Congrats to everyone who received their NOA2.  So I'm a little confused on the DS-160.  When exactly should the beneficiary fill that out?  Is it when the NVC Visa Status has changed to "Ready?"  

 

This is the specific part from the I-129F-After NOA2 site that confused me: "After paying your visa fee, you can submit your DS-160 and schedule your interview!!!" Where and when exactly are you paying the visa fee?  Is that fee submitted when completing the online DS-160 or sometime else?

@ChuAni thank you. I think si $265 accross the board for all DS160 fee before we can proceed. But Medical Fee I guess it differs depending on the country where you want to process for interview. God Bless you and thank you

Try asking your lawyer. even though they didn't tell you or think of it at the time they would probably know the process for this type of thing within your state 

Okay I will try tomorrow, not sure if Presidents’ Day will effect hours. If not I’ll try Tuesday. I really just want to yell at them and complain how they longated this and messed it up, but my mom advised me not to because they could choose to no longer help me even though we already paid them..

I hear you!! It is so infuriating.. hopefully you can get ahold of someone even though it’s Presidents’ Day and maybe once it’s all said and done and you don’t have to deal with them anymore you can give them a negative review on yelp or something!

They don't and won't accept any document that didn't come with the original petition.

All you need to do is to wait patiently for an update. The least you could get is an RFE (Request For Additional Evidence). Thank Goodness, you already know what's missing. Just get them ready, review the additional evidence they need from you and send them.

I sent in some extra items, nothing was missing but I just made an Addendum to my file. I added in an excel timeline of our relationship and referenced photos for certain milestones in our relationship. I had already included photos and everything needed, just wanted to add more. I made a cover letter explaining my intent. I sent that in a month after the NOA1. 

 

I never got the addendum returned to me, so I guess they took it in and added it to my file. 

 

I read about other cases where people sent more in as well without issue. I knew it was taking a chance but I did not see any negative that had a real chance of coming to fruition.

I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve been living apart from my fiancé for three years due to him being in the military. It’s been tough but  Were now at a stage where I can join him. Which is exciting and we can finally be in the same place.

At no stage have I or my fiancé decided to give up. We’ve pushed and carried on and supported each other through each other’s good and bad days. 

 

Keep your head up and I hope he doesn’t give up ❤️❤️

Yeah! You’re so right. I just honestly hope this does not set us back more than a month waiting for our NOA2 approval. I’m terrified and very worried/confused/scared/sad just tons of feelings... I know there are those before and after our filing date who haven’t received their NOA2 Yet... but it’s just so terrible .. I hope this RFE won’t set us back

I’m also August 7th and we got an RFE February 14th but it got to my house yesterday... so idk if they’re skipping? I think they don’t go in order?

Did you send this late in the game or was it earlier, before they started adjudicating your month?
