Naes, USCIS in theory has the same number of employees working on K1 visas per month. If a month has less applications, they should process that month quicker.

Yes.. I get that, but I repeat july had less applications than most months and it didn't work that way.

because uscis is not only processing I-129f, and in the end it will depend on which petitions they concentrate.

thats "if they continue with this pace" September will be faster and also any other month would be faster. Because they didn't send out this many approvals in one day before. especially continuously like this.

Another reason is that theydont finish a month before moving on... so a few 100 applications probably doesn't make that much difference. It is about uscis putting weight on k1 I-129fs around this months (that's probably why winter files were always faster)

in addition: I mean I want it to go fast too 😁 Just unfortunately uscis knows no logic even though you normally would be 100% correct

I think you will get RFE but it's totally fine. Especially, you're already know what you forgot so you can prepare those things in advance. When you get RFE, you can send it back to USCIS right away. Good luck! :D

I hope you are having a great time visiting :)
I am applying for a toursit visa next week and a bit worried, how was your interview process? Did they ask a lot of you?

Hey peterad, my process was easy because I applied for the visa before starting the K1 process. They asked a lot of questions. However, I have seen people in other groups who were able to get the visa with the K1. They just had to show some evidence during the interview process (letter of employment or registration in the University) in order to show that they will return to their home country after the visit.

I hope everything goes well with your application!

I'm happy for all the approvals and those who have been contacted in some way or another by USCIS on the road to approval.

Unfortunately, I had to call uscis, ask for Tier 2, and have Tier 2 submit an inquiry for me. Since filing I would call 1-2 times every month give them my confirmation # for updates and have not gotten anything other than 'Received'.

I only asked for Tier 2 once I was out of the normal processing time, not before. I'm sure at that level the calls are being recorded because they had to call me back at their convenience to answer my questions. Anytime I've had to contact uscis I've always been very polite and courteous including yesterday.

I asked the agent if it was possible that even today or anytime before if CSC had sent me something by mail and it just got lost in the mail. Again, polite and courteous and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But no, my case not been touched or updated, and has been passed up in their words. The Tier 2 agent said I should get some kind of update in a couple weeks. I hope.

Hopefully, soon I hear something.  :(:crying:

You should create your timeline and keep it updated. Then I'm sure you'll get more responses :) Don't worry, just wait my friend.

The same happened to me! I’m so furious and frustrated . August 18

I called in and requested to be expedited on 2/3/18 for humanitarian reasons. This is the reply I got back. Does this mean my request was denied because it’s already being worked on and I should hear back soon? I’m not sure how to take it. I’m going to call in on Monday to ask, but until then I’m wondering opinions or others experiences. I’m aug 28th filer
