thinking, maybe they didn't touch Canada as beneficiary country yet. (stupid theory of mine :jest:

I've actually been concerned about that as well, as I've seen Canadian beneficiaries get approved much later than the usual batch of cases in other months. Technically, they're not supposed to discriminate by country... But I guess already seeing one Canadian get through is a good sign!

Hi peeps. I have a question regarding traveling after receiving k1 - potentially.
I know there was a discussion regarding this and there seem to be no issue traveling whilst acquiring the K1 but I have just realised that potentially I could be traveling while in possession of the K1. If I go for my interview which could happen before April 6th and they grant me the K1 – Could I travel on the ESTA still or is the very next visit on the K1?
I could potentially schedule the London US embassy meeting after my return.
Ughh I cannot really miss out on this trip, especially considering it’s already paid for and got plans with my fiancés parents.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Matt

You can travel other places but no if you have K1 visa already you cannot use ESTA to travel to US.

You either need to schedule interview after the trip or do not go.

Guys I think I missed some questions so here I will answer all at once:

1) country does not affect how long you wait for noa2

2) Dates don't go in an order, if that was the case Forget August or July, even June wouldn't start yet.

3) I will of course do a full day scan later! :D

I do assume that. I mean they are really slow with it that's for sure, but not as bad as it was back then (And also there's the part that they actually reached August 15 in 1 week)

I wish we saw 20s though...

Naes, do you think there may be filers after Aug 18 being approved and not showed in your scans??? We know that USCIS is not updating its website and your scans are based in the USCIS website, right??

Yeah, same :( this week has been pretty slow compared to last one and we got a holiday to boot. Hopefully we get another avalanche next week and we get through the other half of the month (here's hoping!!). Then we might see September by the week of the 26th (pretty pleaseeee).

Yes that's possible.

however it would usually at least show one...

but one thing for certain! Those apps showing August 21 is not received date, this I know 100%. Because if an app shows my scan would also show.

What I'm happy for is june and july approvals that are happening. Because that actually shows how much they are working.

by the way; seeing this many approvals a day is extremely rare and definitely a good sign!!!!

Yes, of course! I definitely see the improvement from just last month! Just hoping they keep up the momentum --it's a marathon not a sprint.
