I have no faith where uscis is concerned. But I have positivity and august numbers do not show the same pattern with neither May nor june at the moment ;)

so fingers crossed we will see some new dates tomorrow with more touches to the dates came out so far.. and also  a few mail only noa2s would be great!

I have faith in love and I have faith in the Lord. If it's meant to be it will be.

But I also believe that the Lord helps those who help themselves so I'll be chasing USCIS around daily if they take me over the expected date. :P

I received the same alert, I was very excited since my NOA1 was August 3rd; until I saw that it didn't say anything new and it was the exact same thing I already had!!!!

@Naes You say it wouldn't affect August filers, but wouldn't it mean that latter half August filers will wait longer? Second half August filers are already in the 180s, so if they don't start the second half of August  until they finish the first half, they might be in the 200s by then or more before even starting and the average days waiting won't improve much. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a second half August filer 😂

Though if they keep up the velocity I guess the first half of August could finish within the next 2 weeks

Here I am with my unpopular facts:

I got approved at 217 days. Being over 200 days is the new normal. We're talking about being well past like, 240 days.

Yeah it's the wild west out here... can get approved in 60 days like those random November filers or in over 250 days... I was just referring to Nae's saying monthly averages "(may average hit 160-170, june average 180-200, july 190-210)" The monthly average of August won't improve as much if they only focus on the first half perhaps?

I hate being that person that is like "only negative things!". I don't think I am that negative, I just try to present a realistic expectation of things to come.

Right now, there's no need to panic. I think the best thing for anyone to do is to just focus on their relationship and keep your partner happy. For us, things got stressful around December. We were originally projected to be approved in September... And we got our NOA2 Feb 8. You know what I  mean?

Also, coffee. Coffeee is good.

This this-
Everyone take note. Stop worrying - Take care of your loves and enjoy this Valentine's Day! Hopefully the last one we will ever celebrate without our other halves present :)

Yeah you're right!!! None of us here should panic. It's best to gulp the coffee down, focus on loved ones, and it's great we can support each other on here.

Keeping a distance from the situation emotionally, it's interesting to just look at the numbers too to see why they make decisions to change up approval methods and why some cases take longer than others. Trying to analyze the method of their madness is a futile effort though hahah

This is all true.

I've tried to study the data that we have. It's nonsensical. I personally lost my mind about two weeks ago when they started approving people who applied 20 days after me. I sobbed. I hugged my dog. I complained at @Naes and @Van & Tiger. They both reminded me that it was coming - to just wait, to hug the dog, to take care of me. I was like 'yeah ok guys, ok ok' but then Friday came around and BAM, there was my approval. They were right, I was just too worked up about it to really chill and appreciate the moment.

I think that trying to understand our government is... Well, I'd rather go to the dentist. HA

I think lesson here is dont check VJ when it is your month they are approving. This way you are not forced to be sad/mad. Instead keep checking your mail and the app :D

So after calling and getting the June 27 lie from USCIS yesterday I called my senators office and told her how up to Aug 15 they have approvals. She said she usually advices to stay awar from forums like that (i didnt mention forums but she knows i guess :jest:) She got in contact with them to ask if they really in august.  I also asked her about my address change since my previous Inquiries ended up on the wrong place. This is what she emailed me back:

" I am on the phone with USCIS right now. Your address of record is xx. You can ignore the customer service line’s request for the address  - the notices will be sent to the xx.

The current processing time for I-129F applications at the CSC is still June 27, 2017. However, your application appears to be ahead and is currently being adjudicated with an Immigration Officer. Please wait 30-45 days to receive a notice from the agency and feel free to reach back out if you do not receive anything in that time frame."

soo... how long do you think until I have it after this message? :0

ps: I lol'd at the part about ignoring customer service line :D

You have NO idea!!!  I got an email reprimand today because I had too many inquiries.  They told me not to file another one until March 24...  Yes, White House, Congressional, Online, Phone calls, Tier II and Tier I.

That is very sad and very unfair. I will never understand why somethings have to be so difficult. This is a very expensive process and when it is reasonably late someone needs to do the right thing!

Hello @Naes,

Do you think that the Christmas/New year's holidays where senior adjudicators may have taken vacation time could have caused the May/June bottleneck? Maybe, now that the holidays are over the process will go quicker?
