Ugh, I just checked. Dec 22 is a Friday too.

What's the problem again with Fridays?

That TGIF feeling! coffee all day and watching the clock, here in the UK a lot of Government employees seem to finish early on Friday

Mondays are a mountain... Fridays usually has too little numbers so it's a hit and miss.

just like that august 7 Mondays usually go first and stronger.

That seriously sucks. Wish I had known that beforehand. I'd sent in my application a day later <_<

Hopefully by the time they get to December it wont be an issue anymore (fingers crossed)

Yeah, I'm a government employee, I hear ya :jest:

But that doesn't really explain why they tackle Monday applications harder than Fridays. Or would they actually work Monday cases on Monday en Friday cases on Friday?

If you work for the Government and can't explain it the rest of us stand no chance! my real worry is to be like John & Rose (and the others) left behind in June and even May

Yeah they stopped and stuck at one point. But it is not a worry for August guys. It is a worry for further months. No worries here.

Nah it is just statistically more so the possibility of cases that are touch early is higher. That's it.

I had two separate apps do that to me last night.  However, I received NOA2 in the mail on Saturday.  It would be cool to see an approval on an app, but it may never be updated in their system.  Maybe you are already approved.  The apps and the USCIS updates don't always get updated.  If they still say received, don't lose hope!
