Hi! I have a quick question. I’m a August 28th filer. My fiancé is from Tonga. His island was just destroyed by a category 4 cyclone last night. It has left many people without homes, without electricity, without food, without clean water. His village on his island is looking at about 1-2 months of no clean water or electricity. It’s really a sad situation and my heart is broken for my fiance and his family. I never knew true heart ache until I went almost a full day of no contact with my fiancé or his family... didn’t know if they were alive, hurt, destroyed. It has been an emotional few days. ANYWAYS, my question is how do you go about expediting a case? Also in your opinion do you think this would qualify for an expedition? Or be more of a waste of time as I’m an August 28th filer. I don’t know what to do but I do know it breaks my heart to think of him there struggling for clean water electricity etc. I’d love to hear opinions or advice on how to expedite or if I even should. Thank you all.

Google uscis expedite.

and call them to ask.

but yes at this point it may be waste. However sometimes cases take longer so it may also be worth it. You can try, it won't hurt anything.

call them and put an expedite request. They will return to you for evidence. Gather evidence to send them about this and your fiances condition.

This type of expedite usually really hard by the way, but as I don't know details they may actually help you with it.

Good luck

I am wide awake and here at work now, girl. :jest: It's 9:41 AM Middle east time. Though we have seen RFEs but it's still good because we know that they're touching August cases in a speedy mode. Hoping for a great week!

Oh yep they're touching!!

Now if I can confirm a case after 15th. Cause I still don't know which route they'll go...

but in the end as long as we see vj approvals I don't really care 😂
