To answer your question, I believe we put in PRESENT as the end date, but as I don't have the final form on my computer, I'm gonna have to check with Geoff, so I'll let you know then! :)

I see people saying they got a text and email before the hard copy of their noa1. I didn't get a text or email. I just got a letter in the mail. Is that odd?

Did you signup on the USCIS website for electronic notifications of updates (the G-1145 is only for the NOA1 notification by text/email)? Even if so, sometimes people don't get them.

This can vary by Embassy, as some countries ask for some specific supporting documents. However, the common thing is showing paystubs and the letter of employer, because those prove the current work situation and income, while taxes refer to the previous year (though these are always required, usually to show stable income), and you could even be unemployed right now.

The general advice is to gather your taxes and W2's (or tax transcripts) for the last 3 years, though this is also Embassy specific. Mine requires only one year's taxes (I'm still taking 3 years with me to the interview).

Got that, thanks a lot. Now still waiting for the approval it's been 33 days to be exact.

Applied for AOS/EAD/AP : August 7, 2018 (via USPS)

USCIS Chicago received the package: August 9, 2018

I know that is a great amount that we will have to pay for this, but I rather have to deal with the money than with this hole waiting!

Im closer to the amount that we need for this next set up than I'm from this NOA2

Hello guys, USCIS received our case and provided NOA1 for K-1 on August 7, 2017.

My question is we were together for short period of time like a month and then I had to come back to my country. After 7-8 months we applied for the K-1. So, do you guys think I should go and visit? Stay there for a while?

Thank you for all the feedback in advance.

Wish all you good luck
